The hotel looked like a 5 star but our room was worn out, lower floor, poor AC, cheap TV. Staff was friendly. Overall, because of condition of hotel 4 star at best. Location of hotel is convenient.

Its little old building but very spacy and nice. Loved to have a wash machine in the room. Free coffee and cool tea all the time was useful. Locayion was the best. Near by lots og massage shops, restaurant, subway, and shopping mall. Staying 5 days there and very enjoy traveling. Thanks.

First room they gave me was disgusting, beat up, not clean and it smelled of sewer gas. I paid for a deluxe river view and the view was of a derelict building next door. I complained and they moved me to a much nicer room on the 16th floor, it had a view. This hotel is quite old and really showing its age due to lack of renovations. I booked this hotel as a splurge and it was a disappointment, one other thing to note is they do not have a liquor license so no beer with meals fortunately there is lots of really good restaurants in the area. Staff was very good but all in very disappointing.

Within walking distance to Sathorn pier. There's a market near the hotel. Sells delicious street food. Hotel room is very big. Great for big families.

Our room was clean and well-kept. Flexible check-in times allowed us to book this room even though our flight arrived at BKK at midnight. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is connected to a nice shopping mall with plenty of food options and is a 5 minute walk away from the ferry and BTS train station. Great location at the right price, would stay here again.

My review has more to do with the neighborhood than the hotel proper. Particularly after saying in Siam Square the week prior, I found the neighborhood to be pretty grimy, with not much to offer for someone looking for good shopping or dining nearby. I had just a few hours to walk around, but there was little to see in walking distance, so I simply returned to my room. The room was spacious, although a little dated. No bar was definitely a disappointment. Staff was professional and courteous. The taxi driver had a lot of difficultly finding an entrance, so he dropped us off a block or two away to find it on our own.

Great location but no benefits to loyal customers
Great location; a shopping mall downstairs; hundreds of restaurants nearby; This was our 3rd stay with this hotel and we messaged them if they could offer us a free room upgrade a few days before our stay. During our check in, they end up tell us to pay for such upgrade, which was embarrassing in front of my client.

Don’t book thru an online travel site
I have finally arrived at the conclusion that this hotel doesn’t like clients to book rooms online with outside reservation services. After requesting a price directly for a specific room number on Sep 3, they switched me to a less desirable room upon arrival. When I questioned the duty manager the following morning she was unable to do anything to appease me for this “mistake”. It’s a very nice hotel in a convenient location if you don’t mind being lied to and book directly. This was my 5th and unfortunately final visit.

We had 5 rooms at the hotel for a business trip. As an all female team, the extra security was appreciated. The hotel is convenient to the Shangri La, restaurants and shops including a grocery store, food court, Starbucks, and a Thai style local market. The rooms are spacious and we had one suite which allowed for our team to meet and plan. My room did not have hot water in the shower, even with letting it run for several minutes as instructed and it also sprayed every which way. The other rooms had perfectly good showers. Centre Pointe Silom is excellent value for the area and we will likely stay here again.

A very nice stay
This was my last night in Bangkok before flying home and I though I would spend a bit more than usual and get a suite. I was shown to my room by a concierge. The suite was very large and took a while to walk one end to the other! The view of Bangkok from the balcony was stunning at night. There was plenty of room in the suite. There were only 4 x suites on the floor so it was very quiet. The toilet was of the type found in Japan, electronic, which was a novelty. The kettle was a bit unusual at least for westerners. Breakfast was very good with a mix of European/American and Chinese food. The room keycard is used to confirm your entitlement to breakfast. The outside pool was closed during my visit due to maintenance but there was an option to visit another hotel to use their pool. You are required to leave 1000 Baht as a deposit which is returned to you on checkout. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the centre of all Bangkok attractions. Short walk to the BTS Skytrain station Saphan Taksin

The hotel is old and not well-maintained. The room was spacious, but the curtains do not block the light and the room is bright as soon as the sun rises. The gym is too small and much of the exercise equipment is poorly maintained. Breakfast was OK, but the staff don't greet guests nor smile except for the person at the entrance. The rooms with balconies offer a great view, but they are all facing the highway. It's virtually impossible to stay on the balcony with friends as the noise is unbearable. I was a bit disappointed.
