Quiet Boutique Hotel

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel - it was a real home away from home in a bustling city. First, know this - it is down a fairly quiet "soi" and about a 6-7 minute walk from Sukhumvit, the main commercial street near public transit (buses and Skytrai ). The hotel has a tuk-tuk and they happily shuttle you to Sukhumvit at any time, but you'll either have to walk or call to summon the tuk tuk when you're in your way back. We only found this to be an issue on days where we had already walked 10 miles!
The facilities, room, breakfast, and staff were all excellent. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the city! Our room was great - I really loved the shower. Breakfast was buffet style (eastern and western) and had a made-to-order omelet bar.
The room and hotel were quiet and peaceful. However, some of Bangkok's largest shopping malls are one and two Skytrain stops away. The closest supermarket is in the basement of the office tower where the tuk tuk drops you off. There are several restaurants along the Soi where the hotel is. Lastly, Soi 4 (one street over) is a party scene that you don't need a taxi to get to.
All in all, a great place to stay!
