Great Hotel, but Stingy

We stayed for a week in a two-bedroom suite; it was marvelous! The hotel is close to everything (BTS, MRT, Terminal 21, Soi Cowboy, etc.), and has Starbucks, an awesome Italian restaurant, a Subway, a small 24/7 food market, and an office supply store in the adjacent building. Street food is readily available all around.
The breakfast buffet is Thai with lots of fresh veggies and American cooked-to-order eggs, etc., pastries, and coffee/tea - excellent! - The hotel provided four bottles of water each day.
The pool is nice and has a jet/jacuzzi area.
The cab fare from the airport should not exceed 500 baht - make sure you get the deal on it.
The hotel offered yoga in the evenings on certain days.
The hotel would have been a five-star, except:
Room service varied greatly in time, so forget an afternoon nap. It was always done way after 3pm.
There are no washcloths to be had; we bought some at the Robinson dept store down the road.
The air conditioner was in part not adjustable, so we had to turn it off.
We were charged $.60 for two extra hand towels one day, but not given "credit" when we did not need room service.
The staff was nice, but it depended on the particular person. It would have been nice to have enthusiastic staff throughout.
