Decent hotel in terms of cost per value.

During check-in I was asked for THB 1000 deposit (for what?). I didn't have enough Thai cash, as it was morning and there were no exchange offices in the area, so I asked if I could pay the same day but 2-3 hours later. The answer was, "No!" It was a real nuisance after the overnight flight. I didn't even have a chance to take a shower and get changed, as my room wasn't ready yet. It took me an hour to get the required THB 1000 before I finally made it to my room, tired sweaty, and angry. I've traveled half the world and, frankly speaking, I had never encountered such attitude first time in my entire life. The same evening the hotel staff brought me their apologies, but still this shouldn't had happened in the first place.
The rest of my 3-day stay was quite smooth. The hotel is located within 3 minutes walk to Lumpini MRT station. There's not much to do in the nearby area, so if you look at some entertainment, like bars, restaurants, live music, night life, etc., you should go to Sukhumvit area, which is only three MRT staions away.
All said, I would stay at this hotel again or recommend to friends.
