Best Location, Excellent Service, but Average Room

Probably the best location for a hotel in Bangkok if you're looking for proximity to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. An easy walk through the Paragon Mall connects you to the Skytrain as well as numerous other malls. There are hundreds of eateries, bakeries, coffee shops, as well as retail establishments in walking distance. The service at Siam Kempinski was impeccable, especially in the restaurant. Hotel staff go out of their way to accommodate each guest, which is impressive as the volume of guests is very high. Only downside to this hotel was the room itself, which was rather small (despite booking a "Premier" room). The room also smelled musty from the time we checked in and the smell never really went away.
