Nice hotel, good location, relaxing rooftop
Posted Feb 26, 2017
Stayed here for three nights on a solo trip around Asia, and was pleased with my choice. The hotel is in a good location close to both the metro and the Skytrain, so getting around is easy. There's quite a lot of restaurants around the hotel, as well as street food vendors here and a short walk away at Sam Yan MRT station.
The hotel is nice enough, with a cafe on the ground floor, and lobby and breakfast facilities on the first floor. On the top floor is a relaxing pool and bar area, which is a nice place to cool off after a day sightseeing. Breakfast was OK, with a fairly limited choice of western and Asian dishes from the buffet and a made-to-order egg station.
The room was fine, decorated with lots of dark woods and fabrics, with a decent bed, a/c, desk, wardrobe and safe. Bathroom was fine.
A nice little place with friendly staff in a good location, made excellent by the hidden oasis on the roof.
