The car parking was fully occupied and the security on duty was not very helpful to open more parking space. Water boiler and cups available in the room but no coffee nor thee.

Nice hotel for peaceful stay

Posted Jul 23, 2017
The hotel has very friendly staffs but they should improve further in terms of guiding tourist when ask for places in Bangkok. Hotel location is very peaceful but quite a distance from the city. Its walking distance from Asiatique which is great place to hangout by riverside. I suggest the hotel to provide more varities of breakfast menu instead of repeating the same breakfast everyday. Overall it was satisfying.

Reasonable Hotel for price.

Spent week here.No minibar, says they do. Safe had no lock, have to get one from office They get a lot of Chinese,Japanese,Korean,Vietnamese, tour groups staying here so do not cater much for Aussies, or Kiwis.Night meals are only available when they have a group in. Has a nice pool but the seats and loungers are mostly broken.Handy to Asiatique, night markets, river cruises Staff good but not many speak English

The river lights up at night

Posted Feb 27, 2017 on Hotels
Hard not to smile at the end of day as you see the sun set over the river, and watch the night lights come on. If you stay above 5th floor and take a riverview room, it gets you up over the top of the other buildings between the hotel and the river - for a great panorama of river traffic through a large picture window. Surprisingly quiet up there, with spacious, clean rooms, and well appointed baths. And -news flash - the tub has a grab-bar - YES! Nice breakfast, good service. Pleasant lobby - free WIFI with good reception there, but paid in rooms. Seems like a little older hotel where they are working by sections to update. Pool area is still a little tired, but nice, clean water. Pool doesn't get sun until well after lunch for planning purposes. Busy local area with lots of street food, massage choices, and about an easy 15 minute walk to Asiatique. Well lighted to walk at night with a friend. It is straight down the street from the Takin Saphan BTS station, but might take you a good hour walking because sidewalks are busy with vendors, locals, and visitors. Sizeable hotel, so a nice choice for a group at a reasonable price.

Cons: Cleanliness of the room. Bathroom was shabby
Location: Market
We stayed for one night before catching a flight home at the end of our trip. It was functional but the room was not clean, and I would not stay there again.

Three star hotel

Posted Dec 20, 2016 on Hotels
Check in went smoothly and the breakfast was good. The room was comfortable, but the items that were not there (e.g a list of property amenities, TV channel guide, info about check out times) gave the appearance of a property in flux.
