I rented the room so me amd my wife could celebrates our 50 anniversary and go and have fun at the slot hall but my driver's license was expired and then would not let me in. So our night was a shame I will get a big 0

The rugs in the halls were stretched and presented a fall risk. I was charged an unnecessary “resort fee”. I’m not sure what made it a resort but it was lacking the feel on any resort I’ve stayed at.

The property was good overall. A pool would have made the stay a million times better. Also I can't believe the lack of snow clean up even though we had known about the storm for a week in advanced.

Went to the Casino bar. Figured have a drink before playing. Sat over a half an hour before we realized no one was behind the bar. The girl running the drawings, told me " yeah, the bar tender is on break". My reply...Really? No replacement? The Girl roaming the floor finally made us a drink after another half hour. I told my Wife, lets go to the Restaurant, they are open until 8, and we can get a bite and drink. The Restaurant was closed, even though it was only 6 PM, and they close a 8 on Sunday. Girl yelled, we're closed! Some young Security guard comes over and says the Restaurant is closed. After the experience at the casino bar, I asked him " Why?". He became indignant, and told me " because "! Because why? Just " because " was his reply. I said to him please elaborate! He said, "its none of my business"! At that point, the hair stood up on my neck. Here's this 20 something kid, telling me none of my business. I told him I am staying at the Hotel, not able to get a drink at the bar, nor a meal at the Restaurant, and this kid that I have socks older than him, telling me none of my business. I stay at the Hollywood Casino Holtel on a regular basis. I have to rethink that Customer service and politeness goes a long way. The disrespectful attitude of this snotnose punk represents the Management. Maybe they don't want Customers anymore? Its a new generation. One thing I'm proud of, is my kids are resp

Spent a night here and enjoyed the casino and a nice meal at the Hops House 99 restaurant. Clean and comfortable room with a great view of the river. Parking garage easy to get in and out. Would stay there again. Breakfast is not included but there is a McDonalds across the street.

The staff was friendly and polite. The one and only restaurant in the casino was closed all day and night Monday!!! No complimentary breakfast. Room was clean and nice. Noisy bathrooms thru walls and could hear people floor above partying and kept me awake till 1am Monday night.

Upon checking in, I was informed that there would be a 50 dollar deposit in case we smoked in the room. I was ok with that but when checking out I asked about the deposit and was informed it would be released within 3 business days. Except they would keep 10 dollars of that deposit. Seems sketchy to me. We did not smoke in the room so why should they make 10 dollars from that? W

Thank you for the feedback on your stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed it. I see you went through a pre paid booking and the only thing you owe the hotel is the 10.00 amenity fee. This includes the parking in the garage, use of the wifi, access to the fitness and business center as well as the coin operated guest laundry. We had included two bottles of water and a 5.00 food credit to use at the Hops House 99 Restaurant or our retail shop by the hotel front desk.

Older female at front desk was extremely rude and would not let my wife check in with even though we share a name and she had my ID. Had to leave a work event so we could check in. Shower would not shutoff and partially flooded the bathroom. Residence Inn across the street much better bet.

Unfortunately unless both names are on the reservation and there are no notes that someone else will be checking in, the ID and credit card of the person needs to be verified for security purposes. We cannot just randomly check people in as this would be unsafe and we take it seriously. Repeated attempts were made to try and check in this reservation without the proper protocol to the point that your wife had to be told to back away from the gentleman's work station as she was waving her phone and ID at which point you arrived to sign. I have shared your concern regarding the shower with maintenance and it has been corrected.
