Went to the Casino bar. Figured have a drink before playing. Sat over a half an hour before we realized no one was behind the bar. The girl running the drawings, told me " yeah, the bar tender is on break". My reply...Really? No replacement?
The Girl roaming the floor finally made us a drink after another half hour.
I told my Wife, lets go to the Restaurant, they are open until 8, and we can get a bite and drink.
The Restaurant was closed, even though it was only 6 PM, and they close a 8 on Sunday.
Girl yelled, we're closed!
Some young Security guard comes over and says the Restaurant is closed.
After the experience at the casino bar, I asked him " Why?". He became indignant, and told me " because "!
Because why? Just " because " was his reply.
I said to him please elaborate! He said, "its none of my business"!
At that point, the hair stood up on my neck. Here's this 20 something kid, telling me none of my business.
I told him I am staying at the Hotel, not able to get a drink at the bar, nor a meal at the Restaurant, and this kid that I have socks older than him, telling me none of my business.
I stay at the Hollywood Casino Holtel on a regular basis. I have to rethink that Customer service and politeness goes a long way. The disrespectful attitude of this snotnose punk represents the Management. Maybe they don't want Customers anymore? Its a new generation. One thing I'm proud of, is my kids are resp
