"This hotel does a great job of everything in my opinion. They have lovely grounds, the staff is all happy too help with anything, you have access to a large jug of drinking water so can cut down on single use bottles, breakfast was perfect for me with two eggs cooked to request, a bowl of fruity, a large fruit juice, two croissant type rolls with butter and jelly and a personal pot of coffee or two large mugs worth with cocoa powder on the table and milk if you like. It is indeed an uphill walk home three to four blocks of gentle slope and 1/2 that is steep but as a reward you have great views of the valley,a nice breeze and less noise than in town, and if the hill is too daunting a taxi from town will cost you $1.50 so at the price this hotel is still a bargain."

"My room was on a patio, birda singing, flowers, and beautiful garden up front with tables and chair in a covered area. I was cheerfully welcomed by Elba who I had chatted with on Whatsapp when I booked the room. I took a walk after arriving and when I got back Franco was at the front desk, he suggested tours for the next day, and arrangements were made for me to be picked up. I went for a walk in the morning and had the wrong shoes to go up hills when it was raining. Johanna, who works in the kitchen, free breakfast, and cleans the rooms. Even with the language barrier she understood I didn't have good shoes for the tour. She went to her home and got shoes for me. How sweet is that?Because of Emergency Declaration, and curfew, my plans had to change, I was sad to leave. Elba made arrangements for a driver that picked me up at 5 am. She was up and welcomed me with a cup of coffee, one for the driver too! I am so happy I decided to atay at La Casa Del Molino Blanco B and B. For me, a perfect place to stay with good people who actually care and made sure I had everything I needed to make my time in Baños even more magical. "
