English a problem, food marginal, checkout was...

While the hotel is clean and the people are nice, English for them is a problem. Therefore comunication is a bit limited at times requiring you to be transferred to several people when trying to set a wake up call time with the desk. The Western food selection is also limited with the quality being a bit disappointing. But what really dissapointed me was when I went to checkout. I asked the front desk to let me pay for the food and laudry services separately with cash (my companies policy) and they said sure, but we will have charge you an extra day's stay for the 10 minute to do this... That really put a damper on it, so next time I will give the Shangra La Hotel a try first.
