It is a OK motel but has a good location.

Posted Oct 11, 2016
This Motel has a very good location, only 10 minutes drive to Acadia national park, and a working distance to the town of Bar Hurbor. But if you like to drink hot water, you need to brning you own coffee maker.

Nice location & good service.

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: Set back away from the hustle and bustle. Areas to kick back under some trees and watch people go by. Also very good service.
Cons: Thin walls, you can hear TV's, snoring, talking from other guests so if you a light sleeper bring some ear plugs.
Location: Within a few blocks there is shopping, restaurants, churches, town green, a park overlooking the marina, museums, whale watching, and of course Acadia

okay for finding a place in Bar Harbor; close in

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Quaint
Cons: queen size beds and coffee in the room.
Location: Good
We're good size people and a full size bed doesn't really cut it. No breakfast and no coffee in the room.

Great location, an okay room

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: The location is great
Cons: The beds are small
The room is okay, extra fee for a fridge in the room optional, needs update but for the price it's okay

Just the basics, but would stay again

Posted Oct 3, 2016
The room was slightly dated, but clean and nice thick towels. Close to town. Biggest plus was that they allow pets. Biggest negative is the lack of continental breakfast. Just coffee and tea with powdered creamer. Real cream or milk and muffins or bagels would be a good addition. Overall, we would stay again. Great front desk staff.

Basic hotel within walking distance of Bar Harbor

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: Good price, great location.
Cons: New beds.
Location: Within walking distance of the shopping and dining of Bar Harbor, day cruises, hiking in Acadia National Park.
My brother recommended this hotel and described it as "rustic". It is within walking distance of shopping and dining of Bar Harbor. The rooms are clean but the decor is dated - circa 1970's. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price is right and I would recommend it.

Centrally located in Bar Harbor

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Location. Value. Free parking. Free Internet.
Cons: needs updating.
Location: Great location--its chief quality. All the charm of downtown is right at hand--coffee bars, shopping, views of the harbor, etc.
This is a moderate level motel that has need for some updating. Very pleasant. Great location and easy walking into downtown Bar Harbor. Modest accommodations. No elevator.
