The property is family owned and operated for 40 years! So fresh and clean and spacious. Friendly and responsive contact. Not in “heart of Bar Harbor” which is just fine—- no traffic etc. But very close , even walkable!! Less than a mile. Enjoy!!

We loved our three day stay at the Highbrook. There is a shuttle stop right across the street so you do not have to take a car into Bar Harbor where the parking is crazy. There is also a path that leads into town if you choose to walk. The room was comfortable and breakfast delivery was an added bonus with a decent selection including fresh fruit. The snacks and drinks available in the common area were nice to have available 24/7. I loved that we could order breakfast and clean linens via the app/website. Everything was delivered when promised and it was a seamless process. We stayed in room 1 and there was some street noise but by 10 pm it was quiet. They provided a white noise machine just in case but we didn't need it. We would definitely stay again.

Although the room was dated, it was well maintained. It was our first time to encounter the way breakfast was served but it was fine. The bed itself was comfortable but the coverings were poor quality.

The property was maintained very well, modern touches, ease with ordering daily breakfast selections and towels if needed. Sandy at the front desk was very pleasant and offer selections on restaurants. Love the availability of pop, water, popcorn & cookies to refuel. Nice touch. Would highly recommend this motel and it’s convenient location!!

Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. The choices for the continental breakfast were great. The breakfast items were delivered to our room every morning at the time we requested. We Put our order in the prior evening. We had access to soft drinks and snacks at any time.

This a great motel. Big room with king bed. Cookies and popcorn available at night and breakfast delivered to your door at no charge. Thank you for the wonderful nights sleep. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Easy checkin. Breakfast is ordered online and delivered to your door. Very convenient to Acadia NP entrance. All of these things made it perfectd for us!

The motel was super nice. Room was large and comfortable with plenty of pillows. We love the vending room with the complimentary popcorn, soda, cookies, coffee and more. Nice to have after a day at Acadia or walking in Bar Harbor. Also the free bus system was great. No parking issues in Bar Harbor and conveniently stopped outside motel. I cant say enough positive things. Would stay again if we are in the area.

The property suited our needs. Although it was not in the heart of Bar Harbor, it was a pleasant 20 minute walk. We only used our car to drive up to Cadillac Mountain ($6 booking fee to guarantee a parking spot in the middle of summer!), as the free bus service stopped right out front of the hotel. We used the bus to to travel to the Village Green in downtown Bar Harbor, and also into the Acadia National Park to hike a few trails. We only walked after the awesome 4 July fireworks as the busses weren't running. The breakfast here was very good.

Extremely clean, incredible service, fantastic location! Nothing not to love about the Highbrook Motel. If we ever return to Bar Harbor (likely), we will most certainly be staying at the Highbrook.

This was a very old Motel but so worth the stay. Probably the cleaniest place I have ever stayed and I am picky. THe bathroom was old but spotless. Popcorn and cookies at night that are complimentary. Very quiet but very close to town with in about 1/2 a mile. The staff were amazing bringing our breakfast every morning. Way better than having to get dressed to go up to a breakfast area. I love the table and chairs outside and it was so warm one morning we sit outside to eat our breafast. Loved Loved Loved this place. If we go back to Acadia it will be where we stay.

Great small family run motel. Our room was very clean and had a super comfy bed. My only small small note worth mentioning is maybe since it was recently opened for the season I would have left some windows open a bit to air it out on the day of arrival. We found the SMS messaging service to be so convenient and easy. My husband and I would definitely stay here again, thanks Adam!

Super cute retro hotel..very clean and comfortable. Convenient mobile check in. Loved all the little “extras”-sound machine, umbrella, night light and half and half in the fridge. They delivered breakfast to us in the morning which was so convenient! Loved our stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Highbrook Motel. It offered a piece of nostalgia that I had expected from the pictures and booking site. Exceptionally clean, quiet, motel staff were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was delivered hot and fresh to our door.
