Only low tide you will be able to see and walk to the island. I got there around 10:45am within 30 minutes the water starting to cover the path. It's also cool to see both side of the waves crashing on to one other. #nature #waterlust #nationalparks #blue #hiking #beach #nationalpark Maine in #blackandwhite it's low tide now so you can actually walk further out to the shore where this part is usually submerged in water. #waterlust. #nationalpark # Maine # Acadia National Park great view and very very windy # Maine # Acadia National Park closer to the moon Beautiful colors rock formation First day in Acadia National Park Taking a stroll by the shore. # Maine I was trying to take photos of the view of the islands and ocean around the mountain but instead I found the rock formation contrast to the sky is more interesting This sand bar between Bar Harbor and Bar Island is only above water for 90 minutes before and after low tide. #NationalPark Hazy view of Frenchman Bay in Acadia National Park, Maine, taken form atop Cadillac Mountain. There are several hiking trails to the summit, but the South Ridge Trail, the longest one, is the most challenging and rewarding.

The guide was also knowledgable and full of good stories/history of the island and park. Great Tour on the Frenchman Bay! You must join this tour! #WeekendGetaway low tide Breathtaking view after watching the sunrise. This is the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard and the first place to view sunrise. Aquaterra Adventures was the best. I had never done sea kayaking before, and the guide Travis was great at giving me instruction and then a great tour out on the water. I would highly recommend everyone check them out and take a tour. You will not regret it.
