No coffee in room and the cleaning service which had a closet by our door started very early in the AM making lots of noise this was not expected nor could you rest.

Although it was a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor it was a pleasant drive whether you chose to drive through the park or not.

Overall happy with the stay as room was clean and people were friendly. Property was relatively quiet and parking was easy. However, WiFi did not work in our room (too far from lobby/main building area) so that was a bit inconvenient for working remote ~20 mins from core activities in the park which could be tedious at times but also a nice break from the crowds of the park and bar harbor.

It was the quietest night sleep in an Inn that I've ever had. The staff was very nice and informative about the best places to dine, shop, and explore. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle.

We stayed two nights and every time we went to park, there were literally no spots for us. We had to park at a restaurant quite a distance from our room. EVERY TIME! That in itself is ridiculous. We had a barking dog right next to our room and the owners would leave dog in room and they would leave. Vacuuming started early and in the rooms above and walls so thin, we heard snoring and talking as well as the dog. No microwaves in rooms and ONE for hundreds of people to use in the office. They put the coffee and such right by front door so difficult to come and go without a line in the way. We also were told we had a view with harbor side room. Nope- we had a lawn and trees with no view. And, the second morning, a maintenance man was right outside our window doing clean up. So, horrible parking, loud cleaning and lacking of amenities does not allow us to recommend this location unless desperate.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a good base to visit Acadia NP. The room was Very Clean and the property was well maintained. The staff were great. They have coffee in the morning and a nice restaurant adjoining. We definitely would come again.

Lovely property in a lovely location. Sitting on the harbor we could watch a range of boats in a working lobster and recreational area and so near Acadia without the crowds of Bar Harbor! A real gem!

We reserved a king bed and a view of the water. The view was amazing, but it felt like we were on 2 full sized beds (they may have been queens, but they were tiny). To be fair, we didn't request a change - we just rolled with it because it wasn't that big of a deal. The fixtures were new, but obviously the building was a little older. The shower head height was very low, but we found it funny and we could work around it. The staff was very friendly and the view was amazing.

This hotel is evidently being slowly renovated by the new owner. We definitely did not have a renovated room. The room was very shabby. The linoleum in the bathroom was rolling up off the floor, the walls were peeling paint. The only place to get ice was in the office/breakfast area where you could get only a 4 ounce cup full at best. There was no microwave in the room. Most importantly, the bed was hard and the pillows were old, hard and very flat. I would not stay there again.
