There is a warm vibe at this hotel that would be difficult to find at other hotels, simply because it's family owned and operated. The sea view is to die for and you have one from nearly every room! The staff are warm and welcoming and they quickly become more like friends. While Coco's is a bit pricey, the inclusive breakfast was a great deal for my family of three and there's something happening at the hotel nearly every night. There are also a few other eating options around, including a local deli across the street, next to a little shop- try the baked lamb! Jake's is a great option and if you're feeling for something a bit more fancy, Buzo is also right across the street and the food is also really great. In one direction, the Boardwalk isn't too far away with many eating options and an enjoyable walk to Acra beach but don't walk it at night. In the other direction you will find Pebbles beach not too far away- I definitely recommend visiting this gorgeous beach! If you don't feel like walking either way, just take a 'boogie bus' for $3.50 Barbados per person. We took one to Oistins for their fish fry on a Friday and I also highly recommend doing that and trying the bbq pigtail.
