Cons: the elevator
The hotel was conveniently located right accross the street from the beach. There were some issues with the elevator but each time it was reported it was addressed. The room was great, the kitchen came in very handy on the mornings when we we did not feel like leaving our room. I would definately return

close to the beach, dining and outdoor activities

Pros: location,comfort ,and facilities.The ancient aesthetics with a well manicured garden is also appealing.Large and spacious with adequate car park.
Cons: room service staff needs to be more properly supervised and productive.Milk coffee ,and sugar replenishment on a daily basis.
Location: ideal location and activities on the St Laurence Gap.
This hotel is well maintained ,friendly and helpful staff.It has all amenities to ensure comfort,eg. lawn tennis court,fitness center,large swimming pool.i and my partner was very comfortable and we felt safe.The old elevator which was not functioning properly was being replaced we were told. Our room was spacious and comfortable.One area of improvement relates to the cleaning of our room-room service.We stayed 3 nights ,but no room service was done.Furnishing in the room was up to standard inclusive of kitchen utilities.

Very reasonable accommodations. Right near the beach and the popular St. Lawrence Gap Aka "The Gap". Many many fabulous restaurants right down the road. A nice 1 block walk to the beach and private pools.

Good beach and night life location

Pros: Beach and night life location. Also the apartment layout
Cons: pool bar required, self service tea and coffee areas could be provided at breakfast. More fruit variety at breakfast, only had melon most mornings.
Location: Very good location as near the beach and night life. Also good access to Bridgetown and Oistins.
Stayed at this hotel many years ago and was disappointed with the current facilities. Nice pool but pool bar around the pool closed. Have to go across the road to the beach bar if any drinks or snacks required. Biggest issue was the number of birds at breakfast, eating the food without any attempt to chase them away. Very unhygienic. My husband and I ate breakfast away from the hotel a couple of mornings due to this issue. Have stayed at Accra Beach hotel in the past and the problem is controlled with meshing and staff being committed to shooing them away & protecting the food. Would only recommend to a friend on room only basis

Great Location and Rooms

Spotless and very comfy, the staff is great too. You can tell they are always working on improving everything. The restaurant at the beach has a nice view and the backstreet is lovely to walk and stop for bars and shops. The beach is so close and parking is spacious.

Stayed here twice with in 6 months!

I love the Divi! Less than 9mins from Grantley Airport. The grounds including pool areas are spotless. The mini mart/gym and boutique are all centrally located. They have activities for all. Pure ocean can use a little more seasoning on their food but the Rum Punch was awesome. The Suite was clean, the toilet flushed & the water was hot. We had all the dishes,pots/pans and utensils we needed. Iron/board. Mop/bucketbroom & dustpan.

Home away from Home

We've been staying at Divi for at least the last 10 years. Every year we go back the Staff, Room and Comfort of the hotel is Excellent. There are some updates that they are doing to maintain such a large property. A 5 minute walk to the beach is the envy of all other local hotels. The pool is immaculate. Be aware of breakfast at the restaurant: they offer "buffet" service automatically, unless you tell them "a la carte/off the menu". Enjoy your stay in this clean beautiful hotel.

Love that it was close to the beach

Had great fun feeding the chicken and the birds. The staff was so genuinely friendly and very accommodating. The food was delicious and the chocolate Junkaroo is so good.

Great beach, dated room

Pros: Kitchen layout.
Cons: Update the rooms. More plates/dishes, towels, better equipped kitchen.
Location: Great beach, not crowded and with shade. Walking distance to restaurants, corner stores. Able to catch the mini bus to Bridgetown easily.
Travelled with family in early April. Checked into lower level pool view room. There are tennis courts, mini golf, pool, sundry shop, small gym and salon. Boogie board rentals further down the beach. Room was dated, but clean. Bathroom with toilet and tub was very small. Sink was located o/s of the bathroom. If you are just looking to spend time at the beach and pool and chill and want a clean, dated room, then this is the place.
