When we arrived at night, we were met by a grumpy, unfriendly night manager who didn't even talk to us. He merely pointed at things to sign or which direction to go. While my wife and I were struggling up stairs with two bags each, he just stood and watched. He didn't even make a move to help my wife with either of her bags. The room had a sliding glass door to the rear, which had a deformed latch that we were unable to lock so the door was open all night. The bed had one thin top sheet and no blankets. The kitchen shelf had the remnants of some sort of animal droppings. The tile and baseboard in the bathroom were dirty and in dire need of cleaning. We had no hot water unless we asked the front office staff to turn it on. Then it went off again so soon, we could only get one shower at a time. The second morning, we again had no hot water so I heated up a kettle of water and poured it in the sink just so I could shave. We had drinks and a meal in the restaurant, which had terrible service. We were virtually ignored for about a half hour before a waitress came over and took our drinks order. After waiting another 30 to 40 minutes for the drinks, another patron took pity on us and talked to a waitress about our long wait. It was only then, after an hour and 15 minutes that our drinks finally arrived. This friendly local felt so bad for us he even bought us another drink later, after we had eaten our long awaited meal. I would not recommend this hotel.
