The Staff at the Soco are wonderful. It is a lovely boutique hotel with great beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.

I enjoy myself at the Soco hotel love Michelle she really is the heart of the hotel and keeps it going. Every staff is friendly and make sure all guest is well taken care off. I wish that when it comes to food, they are more sensitive to people that are lactose and have more options to those who are. Also, when it comes to the cups and plates guest shouldn't be served food with crack plates and crack cups. It's a very intimate resort and I hope next time I arrive its upgraded and better changes.

This hotel is convenient as far as being in walking distance of bars and restaurants. The Staff Shaq,Stan and Shane were the best, outside of them staff was slow and not really too friendly. It waz my birthday and my husband tried to have some special things set up and they offered nothing and were of no assistance, they told him to go down the road to find something. This is not a "VIP" hotel. Its definitely for a older and retired person/people. Everything was basic.

The service and the food were both great. The kitchen is clearly understaffed and food took forever to get to us. It’s an older hotel and really needs some tlc. Water pressure in our room on the third floor was nonexistent and the shower head dripped constantly. The outside bar next to the pool was constantly good. Bar staff were all very attentive and service was fast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in spite of all the fairly minor issues.

Perfect to relax and rejuvenate especially if you are non-stop in your daily life. The staff is professional, courteous, and fun. The restaurant staff pay attention to what you like and try to proactively accommodate. The cooks are amazing. I'm Barbadian born and it was great to have a taste like I was sitting at my grandmother's table. Entertainment, shopping, and dining are easily accessible along the coastal strip. I've been recommending to family and friends, and will be back on the next vacation. Thank you Soco team.

This hotel was marketed as an “all inclusive” which was not the case. It was considered “board” which means you have set hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The “open bar” was bottom shelf alcohol and besides 3 key people (michelle, veronica, and Stan) the service was very bad. Not accommodating, gave me an attitude about asking for a beach towel, and it felt very sub par. I’m absolutely can not justify the amount of money we paid for this hotel which felt like a motel.

Pros: Location is beautiful, staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, room service does a great job. Cons: Food sometimes takes and hour to be served after ordering, at times some of the dishes can be very salty, burnt coffee.

The food at the hotel overall was great, other than that the hotel was below average. No wi-fi as advertised, very small, old hotel. Had to wait for towels and wash cloths everyday, and front desk woman was not pleasant at all.

Convenient location with the beach close by and the all inclusive package was excellent. Took longer than expected to check in, we have to wait an extra hour before our room was ready.

The people that work here are amazing! From the managers (who greet you personally), to the servers, cleaners, and bartenders. I’m sorry I’m bad at recalling names, but everyone there was so precious. My husband and I were so impressed. We would definitely return!

Simple but sweet
A place to excape the hustle of our everyday lives. Its simple and sweet. Perfect for a couple get away. The bar and pool are close to each other. The bar tenders make sure that your drinks are topped up always. We did all inclusive, meals were always hot and freshly prepared. The beach is also right there. Very calm, shallow and clear during low tide. If you fancy an afternoon or evening stroll, you can do so on the broadwalk.

The Hotel is Advertised as All Inclusive, Adults Only but there were many restrictions, food and beverages are only available during specific meal times. Certain items on the menu you have to pay additional for, certain drink selections are also charged an additional fee. There was no stipulations on the website that informed you prior to arrival of the restrictions and although it’s advertised as Adults only they don’t state that the beaches are public so there was many children present on the beach area available for individuals staying at the Hotel. The Soco Hotel was one of the higher priced All Inclusive Adults only Hotels and was not worth the money they charge nor meet any of the expectations advertised.

I would have given this property 3 stars if the place wasn’t infested with roaches and the hotel was located right in front of a busy road. The noise from the heavy car traffic is very disturbing in the morning. We found a massive cockroach in our room. When it rains the whole place gets flooded, everything will get canceled, and you will be stuck in your room for the rest of the day. The food was okay but need more options. The pool and the beach were good, very relaxing and quiet. The drinks were okay. Overall experience was okay, they need some major property renovations and fixing the cockroaches issue.

Wonderful resort for couples. The food was amazing especially the dinner options. They were different choices every day. Michelle the bartender was so welcoming so took many photos for me and made the best drinks! I love that she anticipates my needs. Stephanie at front desk was also sooo welcoming and made us feel right at home! Love it there will definitely be going back.

We stayed at SoCo because we were visiting Barbados Fertility Centre which is a 3 min walk away. The staff is outstanding and went above and beyond. All 3 meals a day were personally cooked for each of us and included in the price. A couple days due to raging hormones they fulfilled my request of sandwiches that weren’t in the menu. They provide beach towels, chairs and free drinks. Every room looks over the beautiful ocean. Since it’s small with only 24 rooms, you get to know the other guests. We also loved all 3 bartenders we met. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure. The sooner the better.

Soco Hotel is a lovely place to stay, with a small number of rooms so it doesn't feel crowded at all. The food is excellent and there is generally plenty of choice. Same goes for the bar. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. They are absolutely lovely, really friendly and helpful. They make your stay special!
