Great people, nice enough hotel, but one of the two rooms didn’t have hot water, and the other one had a mattress thin enough that the coils were protruding out. If this had been a more expensive hotel, I would have dropped the rating to a 3, but this was still a really good value

Pros: Very pleasant stay, very good and helpful staff. Definitely recommend it. Cons: It would have been nice if bathroom slippers were provided. The breakfast room coffee was not refilled everyday.

Convenient location with a lot of food options. Staff are friendly and professional. Lack of ceramic cups for hot drinks in room, but they are happy to provide plastic disposable ones for other drinks

Hotel was conveniently located and the free breakfast was very useful. Unfortunately, our room was situated next to an incredibly noisy staff door which deprived us of sleep the first couple of nights and woke us up very early. The situation eventually improved when I complained to reception. Overall, the stay was good.

Staff were great. Noise between rooms is a real problem but I had another room sorted within minutes so really grateful. Clean and convenient. Could do with a refurb and some armchairs in the rooms but it’s a decent hotel.

The hotel is a great location to access the metro and walking distance to many places. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly!

Hotel was in good location, close to a few metro stations to take train to centre, felt a safe area. Plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel, loads of supermerkats. The room was kept very clean and was very quiet, facing out internally. Beds were comfortable. Room had fridge and safe. No tea/coffee in room. Staff were friendly.

This gem of a hotel is tucked away in a quiet street in Barcelona and is only 25 mins car drive from the airport. It is about 1km from Las Rambles and it is close to two metro stations (Urgell & Hospital Clinic), the latter of which will take you direct to La Sagrada Familia for only 2.4 euros. The front of house staff speak excellent English and can recommend local restaurants and shops. There is a Lidl supermarket within 5 mins walk in case you need additional supplies. After you have checked out on your final day, they will look after your luggage and will also book a ride for you back to the airport. The rooms were cleaned daily, had a power shower and a corner bath tub. Our room had 2 TVs, one in the lounge and the other in the bedroom. There is also a mini bar and a lockable safe. All in all a very enjoyable experience and when I return to Barca, I will stay here again!!

This was the last affordable hotel we could find on short notice and it was further away from the older Gothic quarter where we stayed last time in Barcelona. However, it was till walkable to everything, close to the Sants Train station, and we found lots of really wonderful restaurants nearby. The staff was nice and helpful and it was quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet was not quite as good as we have come to expect, but adequate.

Expedia did not pass along that twin beds were required. Our room was made up as a king. Told to check out and they would put us in another room. In the end we stayed in the same room. They just pulled the beds apart. Did not need to pack up but we did

This property is a cheap hotel with a high price! We woke up to noise at 3:30am. I went to the front desk three different times. Without any apologies or offers I demanded to switch rooms just so we could sleep! Also it is advertised that it has a hot tub and sauna but this is an extra 50 euros for one hour. What kind of cheap stake hotel charges extra to use their amenities!? Never have I experienced this.. I would never stay here again and recommend others to stay away.

Nice hotel, very clean. Check-in took quite a while. Lots of noise from the street at night. Pool is really nice for cooling down in the afternoon, but very shallow so not really for swimming. Be aware that toilet door is made of glass and cannot be closed like a normal door.

We loved this hotel. We had two rooms connected by stairs and it was lovely. It was noisy in the evening with music until fairly late. That was our only complaint. The staff were terrific. Breakfast was really good with great variety. It was easy to find restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff was the only positive. The AC and wifi were awful. Very hot in the room all night. Rooms are very outdated. Wifi was barely 1 bar of service.

On arrival the hotel seems nice. We arrived early for check-in and reception stored our luggage for us until check-in time. Unfortunately, on checking in we were allocated an incorrect room. We have a booking confirmation clearly showing one King and one Double bed. The room we were allocated had three single beds with 2 of them pushed closely together to form a double bed, although they were individually made up at that point. Reception told us that they do not offer the type of room we had booked and we would need to take this up with our booking agent. The room itself was very dark and, if you like your privacy when using the bathroom, I would not recommend booking the hotel, as anyone in the bathroom can easily be seen through the door. Even if the door was not glass, it did not close properly, meaning the bathroom was visible through the gaps. We had paid the additional charge for breakfast and this was adequate but not what would be expected from a 4 star hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay but do not feel the hotel can justify calling itself 4 star.

The concierge staff is THE best. Breakfast could be better but the hotel is always clean, the shower has great pressure & the location is central.
