Good central location

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Suited our needs as a returning visitor to Barcelona to see the sights by walking, metro at end of street if your worn out sightseeing comfortable enough to rest. Bought food from market ready to eat so saved on restaurant bills as adequate to eat in flat It was clean & spacious, could do with a few hooks or rail for towels

Near action but not a comfy area

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Pros: I liked the Filipino staff, but one of the other reception staff was not pleasant.
Cons: When I arrived there was no message or advanced notice from hotel on the keypad entry to enter the building. I was stuck waiting outside and the area does not seem safe to stand alone.
Location: Near Las Ramblas and that was really the only high point. Knowing what I know now, I'd stay in another area if I had to go back to Barcelona.

Didn't know we were comming

Posted Apr 22, 2016
When we arrived he said we haddent booked. Then tried to give us a single room .. Then gave us the basment (which we accepted as we were so tired) .. When we went out in the evening we found the hotel was bang in the middle of a red light district and I got pick pocketed by a prostitute .. The worst experience of my life and I travel a lot .. Avoid at all costs

Very central location close to La Ramblas.

Well equipped, no hassle check in and near some decent shops and bars. Road it is in looks really dodgy and we almost got mugged three times in one night in the street outside but don't let that put you off lol

Hi! Thank you for you comment. Our district is safe and cozy with loads of nice shops, bars, restaurants and places to go, and we are always happy to recommend them to our guests! Of course, as we are in the very center of a big city, you always need to be careful with your belongings!

Well located, well furnished and comfortable

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: The staff was very kind and accommodating
Location: Close to Las Ramblas with all its restaurants and vibrant nightlife
Though there is no front desk, the staff left a phone number to be reached and were very accommodating. The apartment was clean, roomy and well furnished with dishes and cookware. It is close to the Ramblas in a nice area and we would definitely stay again.

Ideal as a base for exploring the city

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Just returned after a 3 night stay at AIN -B Guardia apartment. Was in convenient location for harbour, las ramblas and the gothic area all in walking distance and a nice market. Good transport connections to airport and metro and buses good for sightseeing and beach. Apartment had everything you could need, air-con, satellite TV , hairdryer and fully equipped kitchen. Marvin on reception was very friendly and helpfull. However only scored a 3 as reception not manned overnight, a security key lets you in to main door. We were lucky to have a balcony but no real view, down a dark side street. Had a very disturbed night on last night due to large party of English guys, but I guess anywhere which caters for large numbers is going to get single sex groups. Overall it was ideal for me and my son as a base. ( he slept through the noise!). We were out and about most of the time and had a great holiday.

Just an apartment not a hotel

It's OK for groups or students... When I have booked it I was thinking it is like a hotel.. The location was bad

Great location

We got a nice apartment that fit our needs perfectly. We two adults and three kids and it was plenty of space. The only problem was that they had not received our booking from expedia which took some time to fix.

Pros: Near La Ramblas street
Cons: Be flexible with reservation as de dont accept cancellation or reducing number of stay days
Hotel area is not safe for families. There is odd smell in the rooms, although we changed to another. Also picture shown on web was the only one worth in the hotel and only for 2 ppl. They dont refund money or reduce stay duration as if they dont beleive no body will book their hotel. Although they are noce, i hated the hotel and Im not satisfied at all. Hotel d They have to be clear
