Too far out of the way

Pros: the front desk staff were helpful with any questions or directions you may have.
Cons: Upgrade the mattresses!
Location: Your right across the street from a nightclub and a couple of local bars, everything else is by bus or taxi, in my opinion its too far to walk
Although the room was spacious the bed was absolutely horrible, it was like sleeping on a board! Our room view was of the internal hotel shaft and looked diagonally straight into another room. We kept hearing odd noises and couldn't place the sound only to figure out our room was directly below the pool.It was dark and had no light & no valet or parking services on site. We requested another room but there wasnt any available.The waiter during breakfast buffet was rude every morning, don't expect good service from him. After being seated for 15 minutes we had to request service from one of the girls coming out of the kitchen. However, the bell man and front desk staff were friendly and wonderful!

The whole hotel and rooms does not have carpets which i prefer especially if you have allergies. Its clean, bed comfortable, good location walking distance to main roads lime Diagonal, Gracia and Rambla. Lovely cafeterias all the way round especially on Diagonal road. If you are very sensitive to noise then take ear plugs or ask for a quiet room. Would definetely stay there again. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Pros: The hotel was clean with pleasant decor and best of all COOL after a hot day in the sun.
Location: This hotel is quite central for all there is to see in Barcelona. It is within easy reach of Metros, buses and the open top tour buses.
This was a lovely hotel, with pleasant and very helpful staff who spoke excellent English. They were very informative as to things to do and places to go. We did not eat in the hotel as we were only there for 4 days and wanted to be out and about to try local delicacies. There is a lovely resturant around the corner and healthy eating ones and bars.

Missing jewelry

I realized after I jumped in a cab to the airport I had been missing a bag they must have grown out. I did not remember to look for it because it was a small bracelet I had purchased earlier in the week. When I called and mentioned it they only said "I'm sorry" and did not even offer to reimburse me.

Lovely, clean & classy. Great value for money! Room good size and the towels were the softest I've ever seen.
