Initial impression was reception was understaffed and one woman was struggling to check a group of four and we waited for half an hour. The room was sparsely furnished, the wifi slow and spotty. But all this was made up for by the view from the terrace and the staff up there.

I enjoyed our stay at Sercotel Rosellon so much that I had to go back to Barcelona for my flight back and I decided to book another 2 nights here. Breakfast was delicious. We really loved staying here. The staff there recommended restaurants nearby and they were within walking distance. When we go back to Barcelona we’ll make sure to be back at this hotel.

The rooftop view of the Sagrada Familia exceeds expectations. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in an excellent location central to walking in any direction toward whatever part of the city you are planning to explore.

Overall not impressed- With exception of rooftop bar, not worth the stay. First, the front desk women was rude. Our room when we arrived was not ready (it was 1pm). I told her to please call me when it was. By 5:30pm I still had not received a call. I went back and they said the room was ready at 3pm. Why no call? The room was very basic for the cost. Terrible layout, no storage, horrible pillows, the bathroom was falling apart and had mold. Needs update. Wont stay here again.

Hotel is located in a prime area next to the Sagrada Fsmilia and the rooftop terrace bar gives an impressive view of its side facade. Staff was friendly and tried to help with our concerns however, the room we stayed in was in need of updating and more importantly, the AC was not working. As it seems, the AC does not operate during winter months ( We stayed during the fall) but it was not properly disclosed at the time of booking. That said, the staff did try to compensate by providing our breakfasts free of charge - after we complained about the AC. Asides those shortcomings, we would consider re booking at this property mainly because of its proximity to the Sagrada Familia and staff.

Only reason to stay - THE VIEW!
The only reason to stay in this hotel is the incredible view. It is way overpriced for the room. Awful sewer stench and had to move rooms. Several things broken in new room never fixed. Tiny room but comfortable bed. The rooftop is the other reason to stay (altho no pool). Food EXCELLENT on rooftop. Bfast buffet very good. THE VIEW!!!

This is an excellent location to stay if you are visiting the Sagrada Familia Church. Their restaurant and deck offer an awesome view of the church. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Bed slides when you sit on it. Towels old and bedsheets old and wrinkly. Room small for 2 barely any place to open luggages. Hot water on the shower hard to get the right temperature. Surrounding areas outside are unsafe to walk around, but it’s a walking distance to the Sagrada Familia lots of stores and restaurants around that area.

I really wanted to love this hotel. The location is great and it is decorated nicely. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good. Unfortunately our room was disappointing. Instead of being able to check in at 3pm as the hotel states, we had to wait until 4pm for our room to be ready. Also our room keys kept not working for the door even after being reset by the hotel staff multiple times and being kept away from our credit cards, phones, etc. Also, our AC did not work in the room. For our trouble of being delayed checking in, the hotel staff did give us complimentary breakfast at the hotel which was nice. The hassle of the room keys and later than expected checkin were frustrating. The staff, location, and breakfast were the main highlights.

Unfriendly staff, rooms definitely need a renovation scratched stained damaged furniture. Watch out when booking rooms with view to Sagrada Familia, front desk tried to put us in regular room we refused they did put us to room with somewhat view.

The only thing I enjoyed about this property was the view from the balcony. I had booked a premium double bed room a month and a half prior to us staying there and when we checked in, I was told that were are being given a twin room with no other explanation other than that "their computer system's matrix doesn't talk to expedia" and so my room reservation could not be guaranteed. The hotel was completely booked and no other room could be offered. My husband was upset and so they offered him a drink coupon (buy one get one free) at the rooftop bar and made a reservation for us to go up there. We went up there and the gentleman greeted us by asking if we are staying at the hotel and needing to see our "green key card" to prove we're hotel guests. If the reservation was made then why not ask our names? My husband went to the bar and they said that we could not have any beer or sangria with the coupon. No beer or sangria in Spain?! Ridiculous. The room itself was small, there was no way to open up the window for some air. Our A/C did not work, the room stayed at 20 degrees C the entire day/ night. It was the most uncomfortable sleep I had the during the entire trip. The ceramic floors used for the shower are terrible, my husband had already slipped and fell once in the evening and almost again the next day. Overall, I won't stay here again, it's too much of a hassle.
