There 2 properties and we had a water leak the first night and were moved to the other property. Staff were great and for us it was actually a little more convenient.. staff at both properties were great and whilst small were adequate for our needs and large suit cases. I would stay in either property again as they are both well located.

The hostel was very clean, ideal for a short 2 or 3 night break. Beds very firm, limited choice of continental breakfast, but ok for such a small hostel. Our room faced the street, was a bit noisy and last night a group of men gathered below our room on the street before 5am and woke us all up with their laughing and joking. This was annoying as we had a late night and were leaving that morning for our flight. Apart from that a nice clean hostel with friendly staff. A knowledge of Spanish would be handy as they don’t speak much English. There were mostly backpackers staying their.

Host Carla was very accommodating. Room was good for 2 person but 3 person would have been a problem due to lack of space to store stuff. Needed 3rd bed to store stuff on. Location very quiet and central, wife & I felt very secure

Very nice place. Arrived same day that I booked, the lady Carla, allowed me to check in earlier as I only stay for a few hours after my cruise and the room was available, the place I was before was dreadful, the reason for this last minute booking.

Friendly staff in a good location
Carla was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size for 3 people and the shower worked really well. The room was warm but the air conditioning soon changed that. Everything in the hotel is clean and the free tea and coffee was a nice touch. It's a very convenient location for Passeig de Gracia Station and central Barcelona. I would happily stay again.

I loved the attentions from the personal, everything was always very clean and the location is perfect. Apart from all of this, I traveled alone (I'm a woman and it was mi first time in Spain) and for me feeling safe is a priority, this place made feel completely safe and secure.

Great Value for your money!
Great value for the money. The staff, specially the Carla that manages the site, is extremely friendly and helpful. Not a 5 star hotel, but if you are on a budget, this is a great place. Location is great and the accommodations are very satisfactory.

It was so disappointing that we left for another hotel even though we had a non-refundable booking. The room's only window was to a ca. 3 square meters inner 'patio' so we had no light or fresh air. The bathroom had a weird air freshener smell to it that crept into the room and was irritating. We were given keys to the front door and was told to close it after entering however no one else seemed to do it. I knew that no reception would be after 6 pm but was expecting a card to the door or something a little more secure than keys. It felt very unsafe. Also the receptionist did not speak English but was otherwise very nice and helpful and the room was very clean.

The room was nice but be aware that if you check in after 18:00 hours you must collect the keys from a different location which is 4-5 blocks away from your room. Also, (my own experience) early in the morning there were people talking very loud next to my room, in the shared kitchen, so it was a little bit unpleasant. The room is nice and spotless.

Very Good will stay here again.

Decent hotel in a great area of town
Clean, relatively quiet, and comfortable. I had to knock off some points because the WiFi was generally weak, and completely unavailable my last day in the hotel. Also, the off-site check-in after daytime hours was not expected, and added hassle to my check-in. After the fact, I saw there was instructions in the confirmation email for after hours check-in, but this was not clear enough.

What was good?
Only the pillows and plenty of Hot water. The staff person was pleasant about having the room ready an hour before Normal. Otherwise the room was cramped. The a/c did not work well. Shower hand held worked but not the head mounted. The towel hook kept falling from the wall. It was like staying in a $200+ dorm room accommodations. If the room was $100 or less I would say it was ok. But for $200+ dollars I expect a bit more in comfort and quality.

One of Barcelona's best kept secrets
I really feel I lucked out when seeing the hotel as wasn't expecting much The location was perfect & the hotel it self was excellent for 2 things that are important to me Cleanliness & lack of noise The host/receptionist was ever so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is no other place I would choose to stay when visiting Barcelona now

Great place for location and budget
Had a great stay. This hotel was located nicely in the city and was steps away from food places that were opened late and a 24 hour market. During the day I would walk to the Ramblas which took 2 minutes, the beach was a 15 minute walk, and taxis were always available near the hotel. The room was spacious and the staff was really kind. Also, breakfast was really nice and laid back... very informal set up which was actually pretty nice. I would definitely go back for a stay in this hotel. Only nit picky complaint, the hotel had a really strong smell when you walk in.

Centrally located but NOT a hotel - total misnomer
Surprised to discover the 'hotel' we booked was in fact a hostel. No actual facilities to call it a hotel. Price for three nights did not not match the accommodation. Quite central and clean and breakfast ok but our room opposite the laundry room so when you arrive back late afternoon for a nap / rest the room was not peaceful. Staff were variable Clara was lovely but the weekend girl didn't even introduce herself and was rather unfriendly. Don't expect much in the way of room service either - no bed made or room cleaned - rubbish emptied and towels changed. Reception staffed until 6pm each day. Also no actual window or view. All in all rather disappointing. Also for some reason after booking and paying in full I had an email from the hotel group asking for credit card details to be sent by email - did not do this felt it was rather dodgy.
