La propiedad esta en buen area, si la usas papa solo pasar la noche y dormir esta bien, esta limpia y muy original el estilo, pero no tiene TV, ni agua en las habitaciones. Alfre el chico d la recepción fue muy amable, carismático y servicial, no puedo decir lo mismo de Ade la chica d la recepción, q fue poco amable, poco comprensiva y algo ruda.

Good location for restaurants and shops. I love that they had a happy hour a great breakfast. I thought very clean. We were a party of six with a one year old baby that just flew in for one night to be on a cruise the next day. Very different experience but we had a great time as a family.

Location was very close to the sights and sounds but still in a calmer area outside of the hustle and bustle. The Bar in the Lobby was great to visit when coming & going, and was always well visited. The room itself was clean, but very small- which was fine for us!

Loved this place, an antique gem of Barcelona but updated nicely. Beautiful terrace, cool library and living room area, restaurant was supurb. Breakfast was so-so. Staff very nice and patient. And Pg. Gracia is a great location with more locals than tourists, safe and easy, but still not far from all the thing you need to see.

I like the location, perfect location!! but the property is like an abandoned building, my room was not like the picture at all. It feels creepy, for a minute I thought I was in an abandoned old hospital/building. The entrance to the building was kinda dark and quiet. It’s a different building from the reception building. So we had to walk to the building that we stayed after we checked in. Lucky I came in group, cause if I was to be there by myself, there’s no way on earth I would stay there. For the price I paid I was hoping something a little more decent in quality based on the picture I see. Had I known my room looks like this, I would never booked it. The rooms in the picture look way too nice in my opinion. Feels like I got scammed. But again, the location is superb!!!

Small room - images online look much better
Room was much smaller than image we saw online before booking. No spcae to hang clothes for 3 people, no space to put toiletries in the bath/ shower. All communal areas were nice. Bar was very nice.

I had an emergency and could not make my reservation. I try explaining my situation to the hotel to see if at least I could change the dates of my reservation but property did not make any effort to help me they did not respond to my request at all. If you are planning to reserve this property make sure you pick the refundable option even if you pay a little more.

Perfect location to visit all the attractions in Barcelona. 5-30 minutes walking distance from Casa Batllo, La Rambla, La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Gothic Quarter. We had a good size room that included a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cooktop, plates, glasses and utensils). Room, beds and towels were clean, air condition units worked well. There are several breakfast, churro, tapas restaurants close by. We were very happy with our stay at Casa Gracia.

There was a hidden fee of $200 for a tourist that I was charged at the end of my stay. I asked the hotel to refund this amount and did not receive a response. This hidden fee should have been disclosed upfront. I asked about a hotel shuttle to the airport and was told there was not one. Our bathtub jets did not work.

The property claims to have air conditioning, but it does not. There’s a machine that blows warm air, and that’s it. Our room was never cooler than 26.5 degrees Celsius. I regret booking the property and would not recommend it. It’s unfortunate, because the property itself really is beautiful, but the point of the room is to sleep, and it was so hot sleep was barely possible.

Great location! The property is safe and really nice, nothing fancy. The aircon was not working properly, just cool fan, we ended up sweating all night. Not sure if all hostels/hotels in BCN are like that. The lobby and common areas have good air conditioning. They have a place for luggage storage while waiting to check in. Paco was very helpful. We only had a one night stay. We were a group of 5.

A quirky hotel. ...on a noisy busy street but close to sights, restaurants, and metro. The lift door was a bit dodgy and the button to the 6th floor didn't work, but as a 1930's original it had character!! Cleanliness was excellent in the room and in the shower room which also seemed newly refurbished. The staff at check in and check out were all young, helpful and friendly. However when we came back one night about 5 past midnight and asked for a coffee we were told by a staff member "no we close at 12" a bit disappointing as we were residents and there were no facilities in the room for making coffee or tea (she was busy drinking something herself!) We had a lovely short trip in beautiful Barcelona and to be honest didn't have time to spend much time in the hotel as we were busy visiting amazing places.

I wouldn’t stay again/recommend it to anyone
Cons: The most unstable/unreliable internet I’ve come across in all the places I’ve stayed the last 9 months. In our room on the 4th floor the wifi never worked, in the dinner/bar area it worked intermittently, on the 1st floor (where most people work) the internet speed was 4 download and 11 upload at the back of the building and 30 download and 47 upload in the front. Both places, out cut out every 20-30 mins for 30-40 mins. If you are doing any amount of work/studies do not stay here. I reached out to the front desk in person and over whatsapp and was met with a woman who would cut me off mid sentence or blatantly ignored. Pros: the place is decorated nicely but you don’t need to stay there in order to see the nice areas Overall: Way overpriced for what you get service wise and room wise

Absolutely amazing location, fair prices and the design of the building itself is very interesting. Plus having a balcony is a godsend for smokers. That said... the property needs some maintenance badly, and it's clear it's trying to recycle itself for a fancier hotel than it is. It's very much a hostel more than a 2-star hotel and it has many pitfalls (poor heating/insulation, 'double' beds are single beds pushed together, very thin walls, very loud street noises from the busy thoroughfare below, constant smell of weed/smoke in the corridors, etc). The most disappointing part was the rudeness of some of the staff and the fact that we were given dirty towels three times out of four.
