We booked 3 months in advance having requested a room on the upper level. I was given confirmation of this when I called the hotel a couple of weeks prior to arriving. The receptionist assured me that it would not be a problem. Upon arrival we were disappointed when we were told that ours was a room on the lower floor and that there was nothing that could be done due to all rooms being fully booked. The lady told us to ask again in the morning which I did. She said that yes we could move into the above apartment that day and to leave the matter with her to solve. A few hours passed by and we heard nothing from her. Next morning she was not there and neither did we see her again for the entire duration of our 4 days visit. We did not bother asking the other receptionist. To cut a long story short, I would not recommend anyone who is a light sleeper to stay on the lower floor due to the noises of the upper levels, water flushing noises etc and of the constant noise that can be heard from the underground tube. Also, no reception staff were present when we checked out. I had to leave the room access cards on a small desk near the main door .

Good afternoon, Harry:
In the first place I thank you for your words and that you have come to spend a few days with us.
Although of course I also apologize on behalf of the team for those all points that have caused your experience is not 10.
As for the top floor is true that sometimes the situation of the moment conditions the allocation of apartments although you are sure that when you return we will block an apartment on the fifth floor: D
In relation to the checkout it is very probable that my companion of recovery will find meeting some need of a guest, although I apologize again. By the way, we are improving our reception schedule :D
Thanks for everything and see you soon.
