Out of the way Nice surprise

at first se were put off by the neighborhood but later found it to be very safe and convenient. lots of markets and restaurants. Alexis, the caretaker is the prototypical charming Frenchman who will do anything to please.

Pros: Did not stay there, hotel refused to refund.........................................................
Cons: The date was incorrectly booked through an internet glitch as it was booking the incorrect date twice and I then ensures it had said 14th October. I am aware that the booking was non refundable, but the hotel was inflexible.

Dear, Guest: I really feel what happened but as you say there are reservations that are not refundable. To make a reservation you have to go through several screens, enter payment data ... so, even if it is an extricate cancellation policy, all non-refundable rates work like this. For that we have other types of flexible rates, to be able to cancel in cases like cancellations of flights or similar. I'm sorry again.

absolute nightmare check in..otherwise lovely

Pros: Comfy,clean,spacious apartment.
Cons: Check-in, contact with hotel, some sort of welcome pack-including wifi passcode and local info.
Location: Just around corner from metro, and local supermarkets and restaurants. Walking distance (with 2 children!!) to sagrada familia.
On arrival to hotel we couldn't even get through main door...eventually another guest let us through..we proceed to check in computer which wouldn't check us in...2 20min phone calls later, both rung out ,we were pretty fed up -we had travelled a whole day with young, excited,tired children. after an hour, the housekeeping lady phoned a different number to our given number, and got us through to a helpful english-speaking lady who got us in!..it was now an hour and a half after we arrived!! The actual apartment was lovely, comfy, clean and spacious. air-con was much appreciated after long day sightseeing, and en-suite shower was lovely. The location was good, just around corner from metro, local supermarkets and restaurants and short walk to sagrada familiar. Unfortunately, we had a small issue with toaster tripping electrics, and we were a bit disappointed that there was no hotel info provided-which included lack of free wi-fi password and how to check out!! (again we had no way to speak with hotel to allow them to rectify these issues-no answer to phone) ....a welcome pack including wifi passcode and perhaps some local info could be helpful and someone on the end of the phone!...a few issues let this place down.. a great shame.

Dear, Kayleigh: of course the first thing I do is apologize on behalf of all equipment by checkin process that you had. Really, my sincere apologies. We are working hard to make the entrance to the apartment is autonomous and why we are devoting time to optimize it but it is true that there may still be some setback like that you endured. However, in this impasse of time, we have some alternatives that do not sin remote computer as apaertura but I understand that is not perfect. As for the communication we are also catching up, from the building of Sant Pau can contact our other establishment of the Sagrada Familia by dialing 200 from the fixed to the apartment and the immediate response by social networks. On the other hand I am glad that the experience inside the apartment was optimal, and be sure that your suggestions we are going to take into account to improve information to the guests' arrival and get that experience is optimal. Sinceramete would love to vovlieran within a few months to see the fruits of the work we are currently doing. Greetings from Barcelona

best hotel ever

Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe more dishwasher tablets at least 5
Location: the location is perfect. metro nearby, many restaurants and more. the vibe of the area is very good
The hotel was absolutely amazing. When we came back from roughly a 8 hr tourism of Barcelona it was the best feeling to come back to a air-conditioned rooms. The Wi-fi was fast for all of us to use and receive messages.

This is NOT hotel. It is apartment. No person on-site to give the key or to give any other service. When I arrived the door to the building was locked. I had to call the number they put on the door and then they gave instructions how to open the door. The AC didn't cool the apartment and it was like being in sauna. there was no soap in the bathroom. If you are young WITHOUT kids you may try and like it. For me it wasn't fun:)

Unable to access apartment until someone let me in (15 mins) waiting outside, automated check in machine was broken. I had to dial an international number for call centre to direct me to a safe box to get our room key, but only after they needed an additional hotel tax to be paid of 1.98 Euro that was not included in my Expedia booking. Room was good and well equipped, but woken up at 6am with people shouting outside, who also could not get in to the apartment. Concept ok, but systems need to work. This was too painful. I've seen subsequent charges to my credit card of £32, and no idea to what they relate!!. Avoid.

Great location and apartment!

Great location. Steps from metro, bus and taxi. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed! Cleaning staff was excellent. Only complaint was checking in. Inconvenient and confusing. I would stay there again. Highly recommend!

Didn't provide room keys and no one would come and give them too us but instead they said we'd have to ring them each time we wanted to be let in and they'd electronically open the door. We weren't having that so after hrs of asking for keys they spat out of some machine the following morning. Good train near by but no where near the centre to enjoy everything
