Boutique Orientation Yet Warm and Inviting

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Location, friendly staff, design.
Cons: Consider afternoon tapas and coffee gratis in the bar area
Location: Eixample is the neighborhood, easy walk to Gaudi museum/apartments, shopping on Passeig de Garcia, extensive subway and multiple bus line
Excellent location within walking distance of may popular sites and within one of Barcelona's best neighborhoods. The street is nice as there are restaurants, bars and a small market in the immediate vicinity. Busses are on the corner, subway a few minutes walk. Rooms are small yet designed with the utmost efficiency and quite large bathrooms. Rooms are sound proof from outside sounds. Lobby bar and excellent choice for gathering with friends. We did not try breakfast or the Michelin-starred restaurant however peaked in and the restaurant looks quite inviting and caters to the foodies of Barcelona. Check-in and staff friendly and efficient.Would highly recommend if you are interested in a more boutique style smaller hotel option within the heart of one of Barcelona's more desirable neighborhoods.

Pros: THE PERSONNEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL
Cons: ROOM SERVICE KEPT LEAVING ITEMS OFF THE ORDER, CUPS FOR TEA, BUTTER FOR BREAD, ETC
Location: THE HOTEL WAS LOCATED CLOSE TO ALL TRANSIT SYSTEMS THAT WAS VERY HELPFUL
THE HOTEL WAS LOCATED CLOSE TO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ON THE SAME TRIP

Pros: The location, room size, price
Cons: Poor WIFI, only 1 power socket in a useful location, no tea or coffee making facilities
Location: Short walk from the metro, lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby.
The Cram is a funky hotel with curved walls all over the place and a vertigo inducing atrium that isn't for the faint hearted. It's well located, about a five minute walk from the Universitat metro stop and there are some really good nearby restaurants such as Vigo, Yamadori and La Mamounia. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay and all spoke good English. We stayed in a standard double room which had a generous queen size bed and plenty of space to relax. Most of the walls were covered in mirrors which added to the sense of space. Our 6th floor window offered nice views over the inner courtyards of the rest of the city block. Aside from a faint rumble from the AC it was very quiet and we didn't hear other guests once during our stay and no street noise at all. Really the only negative things I can think of are the lack of electrical sockets (only one socket in the bedroom and one in the bathroom) and the WIFI speed was rather poor and had a tendency to work in fits and starts despite having a full strength signal.

Overall a nice hotel

Posted Sep 3, 2016
Overall the hotel was lovely to stay in. We stayed for 5 nights, the hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. Only thing is kettle and tea was not provided so we requested one and the staff were happy to help. The room walls were quite thin so you are able to hear cupboards closing in the next room.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, comfort.
Cons: N/a
Amazing hotel with rooftop views of Barcelona. My room was clean, spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Staff were always responsive and friendly. Location was close to great restaurants and shops I would frequent daily. I would stay at this hotel again most definitely.

Good location. Subpar service. Staff uninterested in my experience. Floors in room dirty.

Quiet and clean

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Quiet
Cons: Kettle, more plug sockets in the room
Location: Central. Everything walking distance
Very quiet due to sound proofing. Clean hotel with welcoming helpful staff. Very disappointed a hotel of this rating did not have a kettle/tea making facilities. Also only two plug sockets in the room. There was one on a bed side draw next to a bed, but why not on the other draws next to the other bed, doesn't make sense?
