Hotel close to port

Posted Feb 11, 2017
Pros: Location of the hotel
Location: The Ranblas was great for shopping and restaurants. Right outside of the hotel was a Hop-on Hop-off bus that you could use to see the sights of Barce
The hotel was super clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way by recommending restaurants, arranging transfers to airport, and sight seeing. We had to leave too early to have breakfast in the morning but the food and variety looked good. The hotel was right on the Ramblas and very close to the port where we arrived.

Long Weekend stay for Wife's Birthday

Posted Jan 23, 2017
Pros: Position,rooms,staff
Location: right on Las Ramblas at bottom end near the sea end.
Stayed at the Eurostar Ramblas for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised by the location (right on las Ramblas at the sea end) the room (double non smoking) and general appearance, staff, facilities etc.We were on a room only break but partook of the offered breakfast for three mornings we were there and again, very nice selection of cereals, hot food ,fruit, juices and tea and coffee. We had a small problem with the room key card not opening the door on our return the first evening but the staff supplied a replacement card easily enough and even came up to the room to make sure it worked. Room was cleaned daily with clean towels each time. All in all a pleasant stay and very close to the Gothic Quarter of town and the Las Ramblas itself.Taxi to the airport was 32 euros and took about 30 minutes.

Simple clean hotel, close to bars and restaurants

Posted Dec 15, 2016
Very clean hotel, with very helpful staff, used by both tourists and business travellers, with breakfast but no bar or other dining facilities of their own, but a plethora of good bars, cafes and restaurants all around, and easy access to metro and taxis.

great place...small, but perfect for travelers that want to see Barca and not the inside of a hotel room

Clean, modern hotel in great location

Posted Oct 5, 2016
Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel... It isn't huge, but is ample in size for the area. It was modern looking, clean, and the staff were most helpful. The rooms have all the required amenities, and the location of the hotel was ideal. Right on La Rambla, next to all the restaurants, bars, and shops.

Nice Hotel on the Ramblas

Posted Jun 8, 2016
Pros: Close to the Mediterranean; close to shopping, restaurants and public transportation.
Hotel was a pre-cruise stop that was close to the port and easy to navigate to all of the sites.

Convenient and Overpriced

Posted May 24, 2016
Pros: Convenient and located by Metro. Staff is informative, generally willing to help and speak English.
Cons: Staff could be a bit friendlier, but they will help you if you need it. Two beds pushed together were considered a king bed and they moved apart.
Location: Located right on Las Ramblas with plenty of eateries, cafes, and bars. Shopping is also very close as well as the beach if willing to walk.
This hotel is convenient and easily reached by the Metro (get a T-10 pass at the airport in the "Tabaco" shop just outside--before going downstairs for transportation). Hotel is located diagonally across from the Metro stop. The room is small, but was keep clean. Any left out change in the room will be considered a tip for cleaning--I think my computer was used as well with someone else's name left on my an email account. My room overlooked an outdoor bar and it was noisy until about 3:00 AM. so ask for a room over looking Las Ramblas. The Internet was generally OK. Restaurants, bars, and shops are far more interesting in the alleys in the Gothic barrio close by. Generally, this hotel is fine, but was way overpriced for what it can offer.
