The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful, ad everyone spoke English very well if that is a concern. You might walk right past the street the establishment is located on as it's a very tiny alley in the Gothic quarter, but after a day of walking around you'll get used to these types of streets. There aren't tons of amenities here, but that's rarely an issue for me. A refrigerator would have been nice to help with keeping the expenses spent on food a bit lower if I could have done some grocery shopping. There are a few different sized rooms here and I opted for a small since I was traveling solo, and it was indeed small. Again not a huge deal for me personally, but might be a little too tight for some others. The price was fair, especially for the location which has you in the hear of everything you'd like to see. You can literally walk to almost every attraction you'd like to see, as well as numerous forms of transportation just about a block away at Placa Catalunya. I only ever asked the front desk for something once, and they accommodated my one request so no complains there. I would recommend anyone looking for a central location from which to explore the city have a look into this hotel. I can't speak for the larger rooms however, so look into other reviews for that.
