I picked this hotel because it has 24 complimentary shuttle to the airport. What is an added bonus for this hotel is that it is nest to a shopping mall so there was somewhere to go rather than just sitting in the room. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the room was hot. Apparently the heating and cooling is the same hotel wide and with it being spring hotel was still set on heat. We were able to open a window and get the room cooled down.

The shuttle times are not frequent enough. The staff at check in were less than helpful. The room was small and quite basic which is fine (minus the lack of water bottles or conditioner). The dinner menu/offer was deceiving however the bar staff were kind and helpful. Outdoor area was nice. Spa was nice but quite busy and dirty. sleep was difficult as our room was right above the bar and the hallways carry sounds right into the room.

We needed to be at the airport at 3AM. The 24 hour shuttle was an essential amenity for us and a deciding factor in where to stay. Only transportation to Barcelona is a bus stop across from the hotel.

Part of the appeal for the booking was the pool area but then found out there were actually extra charges just to use pool. Also the breakfast was not very good. Food was not hot or not refilled and then when I asked they replied there was none left even though there was still over an hour of service. The internet was also not speedy and it took a lot time to connect and reconnect.

I was glad to have the airport shuttle as a service, but it’s a good thing I called to inquire how to pick up the shuttle when I arrived at the airport. As far as the hotel, I was only there for a short time —less than 24 hours, so it didn’t allow me to take advantage to go into the heart of Barcelona due to distance. I amused myself by stopping in the mall to get a sense of the people of Barcelona.

Our experience was great! Easy check in, friendly staff, and very nice clean hotel. We stayed Sunday night, so nearby shops were closed, but took the bus to downtown city center and it was very simple. Staff was most helpful! We also had a complimentary friendly airport shuttle at 4am!

Shuttle now runs every 45 minutes a d is very convenient. The pool now changes 10euro,need caps and rubber shoes. Breakfast was included, good and long hours. Shopping next door was nice. Rooms are very basic, but clean and quiet. Could use teakettle.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and shuttle to the airport was prompt and friendly. Breakfast buffet was dreadful. Stale bread that fell apart before you could get it to the toaster, cheap condiments, absolutely cold scrambled eggs that had just been put in the chaffing dishes, worst coffee we had in Spain. We wanted to sit outside, but there were several tables covered with empty beer and wine bottles and dirty ashtrays that hadn’t been cleared away from the night before. There was coffee or something spilled on the floor near the buffet table and staff were walking around it. The hotel is close to the airport and attached to a shopping mall, it was our last night in Spain before departing so it wasn’t a bad choice, the room was clean and quiet. Renovations are being done to rooms right next to us, we didn’t hear any noise until we went into the hall. Heated mirror in the bathroom was so hot that it was hard to stand in front of it to wash hands, and we couldn’t find a switch to turn it off.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sleep in a construction zone? Of all the places to stay in Barcelona, this one can give you the behind-the-scenes look! We arrived shortly after midnight after getting off the plane, and were given a room on the fourth floor. The hallway was dirty with construction debris and lined with boxes of flooring tile. The room also had a strong smell of fresh paint, which was unpleasant and caused headaches. We were also a little worried about some bugs we found around the room. We were able to shower and get some sleep — until we were woken up at 7:30 a.m. by construction noises. We stayed one night and won’t be back. Maybe I would consider it if I got into the building trades.
