Shower didn’t drain well and would have LOVED blackout curtains (adjacent buildings had light shining through in our room and with the jet lag made it very hard to sleep..)

We loved the location for the ability to step outside the door and be right on La Ramblas. Easy access to the Gothic Quarter, good shopping and transport options- The hop on/off bus and the airport link bus. We also loved our view of La Ramblas and the rooftop bar was good. The staff were welcoming and always helpful. However, you do need to weigh up whether you can cope with the inevitable noise at night. We were woken early by workers in the street below. Despite this, we would still choose to stay here again.

The only night I spend in this hotel was horrible. I couldn't sleep as around 1:00 am there was a leak in the balcony door of my room that wet the floor and my luggage. Not to talk about the personnel. I called for someone to help and the men opened the balcony door and went to get something to dry the floor and left it open, it was cold at this time. He took his sweet time to get back. The glass balcony door was hard to close I couldn't close it. As I mentioned before, it have been my worst night in Barcelona.

Visited on 23/3/2024 to 26/3/2024. Hotel is on Las Ramblas so there is street noise so recommend ear plugs or request a room away from the street. Having a balcony was great for people watching. Elsa and Javier were very helpful upon check-in. Walkable to everything, shopping, food, and transportation is close if you want to venture out to other neighborhoods. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel located in main tourist area, good location. We stayed for 4 nights in Ramblas facing balcony room on second floor. Wry noisy area in night and early morning due to street cleaning and service trucks. Very difficult to sleep in Ramblas facing second floor room due to noise. Non cooperative reception staff, had to sleep with ear plugs and you-tube white noise. Other issue with hotel is one constant temperature for all rooms. Stayed in late Mr h 2024, room was like sauna as temp was set at 25. Cannot open window due to street noise, and with no temp control option, it is major problem one advice, do not stay on 2nd floor facing Ramblas, and think carefully about your tolerance for room temp.

This is one of the noisiest hotel I have ever been. The first room in front of the Ramblas had all the noise of the street. Then we were moved to one interior room where water flowing and running motors were our company the whole night. Very bad experience.

The staff is very nice, the hotel is quite clean, and the location couldn't be better if your tour purpose is to explore history and culture. The only issue that bothered me was the noises in my room, located on the first floor (R floor). The noises seemed to be of low frequency, occurring between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm, in 5-minute intervals, and each time lasting about half a minute. I'm not sure where the noises were coming from; it seems they were from some mechanical devices.

Check in process was pretty annoying , receptionist ( Juan ) pretty rude and annoying that keep asking questions which is not his business. He needs some guest service training, he was so unprofessional. My room has that heavy smell from toilet which was so annoying and uncomfortable, I need to keep my balcony door open the whole night and it was cold at night. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent. Our room is not facing Lambla street, so it is quiet. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and the staff at the restaurant were very attentive and friendly. When we checked in, the young gentleman was very helpful. We really appreciated his hospitality.

The hotel was clean, great location and the staff were very friendly. I have to give a special mention to Jordi Rodriguez who was a stand-in bar tender in the roof top bar during our stay. El hotel está localizado literal a pasos de la rambla. El staff muy servicial, todo muy limpio y ordenado. Check-in y check-out en minutos. El buffet de desayuno variado y muy rico. Lo único que pudiera mejorar es la temperatura del aire acondicionado. No permite que esté muy frío y en temporadas de verano debe ser caliente el cuarto. La suerte fue que el cuarto tenía ventana y la temp afuera estaba en 55° y nos enfrió el cuarto. Lo demás perfecto.

Great base on La Rambla
I would choose this hotel for comfort and convenience. It isn’t the type of place where I would choose to spend lots of time, but as a solid 4* base in central Barcelona, it ticks the boxes. Good check-in with friendly staff. Brilliant location on La Rambla. We asked for rooms at the rear of the hotel, which were quiet. Good bed. Rooms were good but bathroom in one of the rooms was tired and the shower wasn’t great. We read about the drain smell in previous reviews and did notice a bit of an eggy smell in the bathrooms in the evening, but it didn’t inconvenience us to any great extent. Free bottle of local red wine and free drink in the rooftop bar were nice touches.

Best location amazing. Opera suite has amazing views. the rooms can be updated, overall I would recommend this hotel.

I would give 10 plus stars for this hotel because of location, spacious rooms, wonderful receptionists and breakfast staffs. Right on famous La Rambla street, but our rooms are very quiet! The breakfast buffet was excellent, many choice options. I would like to stay here again when return to Barcelona. You won’t regret if requests room 322 or 324. The water pressure is super strong. Only thing I didn’t like is the design of bath room not very good . The water splashed out of the bath tub area made the floor was wet every time we took shower even we lowered the water head equal to the wall he. Beside that, nothing else can complain about . Again, thanks Michael and front desk staffs are so nice and friendly to keep our luggages for couples hours after I checked out.

The property was well presented, clean and the staff were ok, although they dont acknowledge you after youve checked in. So they dont acknowledge you when you go out or return. The roof bar terraced was excellent and so was the view. Juan Angel who manages it does it with enthusiasm and professionalism. He's a real asset to the hotel. The gym was scarce with only 3 equipment but had a toilet. The room doors slammed at night and l felt they could have a soft door closing mechanism. Otherwise, l liked it enough to return.
