Location was far from everything. If you stay in Barcelona stay near the gothic quarter or la Rambla or right on the beach.

I'm really sorry that you didn't like your stay with us. It is true that we are on the north of the city, but you have a great connection with public transport to get to the center in about 20 min. In a future, you have different options of Ibis a bit closer to the center, in Sagrada Familia or Glories, close to the beach.Best regards

It was good, very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was a best buy for the area, we use it as a base for visiting Barcelona.

The hotel is a good budget option. Its 10 mins walk to the metro, and the metro is a 10 minute journey to the centre. The room was small and basic but adequate. The staff were mostly great, all spoke good English. There is a modern shopping centre next door with loads of fast food options, and also a large modern supermarket. There is a lido opposite the hotel, but we didnt go because all the reviews said how dirty it was, but may be ok, especially if you have children. Breakfast was pretty good with an excellent coffee machine. Overall the hotel was good value for money.

Low quality/price ratio. Very basic rooms with the bare minimum of amenities. Clean and in a quiet area. 10 minutes from the subway. Very far from the central area (40 minutes by subway).

Lovely friendly helpful staff. 24 hour check in and out. We found the mattress and cushions a bit on the hard side. I think they were memory foam? This wasn’t a problem as we still slept well. We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast was good and regularly replenished. The staff was very helpful. The room was kept very clean during our stay.

Nice view from the 12 Floor
Reasonable price but out of the way location and a bit of a hike to the nearest Metro if you're on foot. Still, safe, clean, basic amenities, and not so hard to discover the many attractions of Barcelona.

Hotel is situated in an central location, easy to gain access to metro, bus and train. Hotel was neat and comfortable. Staff were not the most helpful and friendly. We arrived at 11:00, hotel check in is meant to be from 13:00 onwards. The lady at the front desk said there was nothing she could do to assist an early check in and we should come back after 14:00. When we asked to leave our bags at the hotel, so we could go around easy, she was very hesitant and made us feel as if we were truly an inconvenience.

Hotel room is small for two twin beds, but it was clean and tidy. Room service is supposed to be 24 hours, but when we arrived at mid-night, we could only order pizza. Hotel location is good as that is next to shopping mall, grocery store and restaurants.

Nice and tidy hotel.
The hotel is 10 - 15 minutes walk to either the local bus stop or metro station for access to and from the city centre. It was easy to find. I found the staff to be polite, friendly, helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was good and fresh, although it would be a good idea for the hotel to provide scrambled or poached eggs to make the breakfast experience better. Everything was clean and tidy within the room I stayed, as well as thoughout the hotel that I saw. There's a shopping mall behind the hotel with a selection of places to eat and it is not far from a convenient store. I cannot fault my stay there. Thank you.

A great weekend in Barcelona
We stayed during the very hot period at the beginning of August. Air con in rooms was amazing with rooms ice cold if required. Breakfast buffet was great with a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, breads and cakes, plus juice, tea & coffee. Hotel in a very friendly area with nearby restaurants used by the locals and serving great food at great prices. Close to metro & train station

A bit out of the way, but a nice hotel.
It's a bit out of town, but the area is nice, if a little quiet. It's a three to four hundred meter walk to the nearest station, but the walk is pleasant. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast is continental but there is a bit of a selection, so overall, okay. There was a power outage to the entire building until 2:00am, which marred the exit of my family which were due to fly out at 6:45 next morning, but I think it was a one-off unforeseen event. In general, I think Ibis hotels sail to close to the wind in turns of the staffing, and general maintenance (see my review of Ibis Paris 17 Clichy-Batignolles

The hotel staff are very helpful & friendly. The shopping centre with food outlets are within 1min walk. The metro station is about 5-10mins away. Not easy if you have too much things to drag along. We paid €43 to come by taxi from the El-Prat airport but upon checked out, we dragged our bags to the Metro station to get to Viladecans, it was easy.

Good location
On the outskirts of Barcelona but within 10 minute walk to train and metro stations. Near to large department store and small mall with bars and restaurants plus supermarket & McDonalds. Check in was quick but there was one member of staff in particular who was very officious and actually shouted at me when I went to go to the bar - why I have no idea! Bar/restaurant area could have been more inviting and was rarely manned except at breakfast. Breakfast itself was the usual continental meats, cheese, fruit, pastries, cereal etc with coffee, juices and tea. Cafeteria type self service and fairly plentiful. We did come back at the end of one day to find our room had not been made up but it was quickly resolved. Not one of the best Ibis's I have ever stayed at - the one redeeming feature was the chap on reception on our last morning as he helpfully organised our taxi to the airport.
