Right in the middle of the action - on La Rambla!

Pros: Location, Location, Location.
Cons: If you want to have a late morning start - you need to put the do not disturb sign out as the cleaning staff is very assiduous and starts early.
Excellent upscale hotel right in the middle of the action on La Rambla. Safe and secure location within walking distance to major downtown (Bari Gotic) attractions. Within a block of subway (Liceu) and Plaça Catalunya (major transport, shopping and tourism hub). Rooms are very comfortable - more North American in size. Bathrooms are excellent with spacious showers. Hotel restaurant is very good for afternoon tapas, evening dinner or late (after football match) drinks. The best attribute however is the location - La Rambla is a great starting point and is in itself a legitimate attraction. St. Josep's Market is two blocks to the south. The Cathedral, a logical starting point for exploring the old quarter (Bari Gotic) is only a 5-10 minute walk. Shopping, be it typical tourist schtick or more conventional brand name stores is all within a 5-10 minute walking radius.

Great hotel, centrally located to all sight seeing locations. Hotel is a bit overpriced. Saying that the rooms are quite comfortable.

Lovely up market hotel

Stayed for 3 nights, rooms are very nice and classy bathroom is lovely did have trouble getting the hot water but managed. Hall way to the rooms just smelt so clean and fresh. Didn't eat in the restaurant or use any facility in the hotel. The hotel did ask for a hold on my credit card as they do but it's almost a week I have been back and the hold is still on?! I have emailed the hotel with no reply. £350 on hold!

Perfect location, very clean and tidy.

Pros: The cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and the location.
The hotel was easy to reach from the airport and in a perfect location midway along La Ramblas. Our room (Junior Suite) was at the back and was very quiet and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and did all they could to make our stay as lovely as possible (we didn't have a working television in our first room so we were upgraded to a suite within 20 minutes of arriving). We didn't eat lunch or dinner in our hotel but there was a lovely restaurant just over road from the hotel. I would stay here again without question.

Very dissapointed experience..very dark room, staffs not friendly, breakfast very limited choice ....not a 5 stars hotel service !
