Perfect location next to everything!

Posted May 17, 2017
Pros: Location, cleanliness, attractiveness.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Near cathedral, restaurants, Plasa Catalunya, transportation, la Rambla, market, small shops, department store. Most other attractions easy walking.
Small room, well designed and appointed, not inexpensive, but well worth it for it's location! (We were offered an upgrade at an additional price, but didn't take it.

Very central , modern and convenient hotel

Posted May 17, 2017
Pros: The location and the room balcony
Cons: Air con
Location: Right in the heart of the gothic quarter and a few meters from La Rambla - 5 minutes to the market and 10 minutes to the Cathedral
Great location, friendly staff. Some confusion when we checked in as I'd booked a double room but had been allocated a twin - so we were given a small double room which was fine, but not worth the money. It did have a lovely little terrace thought. The air con wasn't very efficient so it was very hot at night. But very comfortable bed and clean , well appointed room

Friendly welcome on arrival. Central location.

Hotel situated in the centre of everything. Approximately 20 minute walk down to the harbour and beach, 2 minutes to La Ramblas. Friendly welcome on arrival and no problem leaving suitcases while waiting for room and on checkout. Super clean everywhere with nice marble decor. Breakfast is an absolute must as the choice of food on offer is amazing!

Couldn't be more central

Great location just off La Rambla. Very comfortable rooms and mine had a balcony. Only slight negative was that the breakfast buffet did not include any hot food.

Pros: Location
Cons: Restaurant and bar
Location: Easy access to all amenities
Great place to stay for all of Barcelona, would have been nice to have been able to eat at the hotel during a brief spell of bad weather.

Perfect location, location

Posted Apr 28, 2017
Staff were helpful. Room comfy especially the bed Cleanliness good, some areas in bathroom were very old so we're impossible to look any cleaner. Best of all though was the fantastic LOCATION. Lots of places of interest short walk away others easily accessible by bus. Would definitely recommend this hotel in the Gothic area.

Comfy convenient hotel in historic centre of Barce

Posted Apr 26, 2017
Three great days. Wandering the historic Barri Gotic area was a great adventure. Walking down to the beach and beautiful port on a hot April day was amazing. Taking a cable car to the peaceful top of Mont juic was worth an hour+ wait . Common sense and visible diligence - no pickpockets. Las Rambles, a tourist trap, not worth it. Yummy food!, good clothes shopping, stunning sights.

Pros: Location and the breakfast which was fantastic
Cons: Update the décor of the hallways.
Location: Close to shops and dining facilities. Also close to La Ramble and walking distance to the port and beaches.
This hotel was ideally located in the gothic district, close to transport and attractions.

Good quiet hotel within the old city area

Posted Mar 23, 2017
We went on a short break and were looking for a quiet, decent hotel close to the sites and sounds of the city. This hotel offers this, it is situated in the old town area close to the Cathedral, the Ramblas and other tourist attractions. A good base to move around the city with transport hubs within walking distance. Lots of cafes etc nearby and staff were always helpful.
