They will require you to get another room if you have 5 people (with 6yr old kid). Not very friendly and accommodating. Gave me a card for the room and accidentally walked in on someone’s room. Then Gave us the room key 3 different times it wouldn’t work on the elevator. So frustrating and the manager gave us a not so nice comment when I asked to escort us to our room. Never again going back here..

We were a family of 4...room was a good size for all of us, bathroom area excellent. Sofa bed was like a bit rigid per comments from the girls. I really like the area...near a super Shopping Mall and pharmacy 24 hr open. Room was clean, daily service awesome. We purchase the breakfast buffet in advance and it was a good deal. Buffet is awesome, many things to pick (love the bread options!). A metro station was close to the hotel (5-7 min walk). Sagrada Familia is around 30 min walking. The only cons (-) for me was that there is no laundry in the hotel...I had to walk like 6 blocks to the nearest one (pretty easy and convenient)...the staff was very helpful getting the info of the safest and closest laundry.

The hotel was close to shopping and dinning. Had a rooftop bar. Beautiful view. Only thing I can complain about is no complimentary toiletries or water.

I feel like i was ripped off by expedia . I had paid extra for a suite and i got a dungeon as a room. I was humiliated upon arrival as they passed me a trolley and told me to go get my luggage from the basement in the garage. They talked me into signing up for breakfast which was absolutely disgusting. I also had booked a pullman for paris with expedia and they had read stains that appeared as blood on their sheets! I will think twice before ever using expedia as i have been lied to

This hotel seems like a hotel placed in an office block as an after thought. It’s not a bad hotel it’s just not worth what they charge considering a 5 star Hotel in Costa del Sol or Valencia is not much more expensive.

Great staff. Beautiful rooftop bar and pool. Only gripe was I got stuck in the stairwell with no phone or card to let me out. If I had got in lift I would have been able to get to rooftop without issue but once in stairwell I need card to let me out - oversight in my opinion. Eventually after 20 minutes of banging on doors someone heard and let me out 😂 need to allow people out to rooftop without need for card. I would definitely use this hotel and facilities again despite my slight gripe.

Lovely stay in a good hotel
The hotel is located north of the main centre of Barcelona, but right next to the Westfield shopping centre and a short walk from Glories metro station. We mainly used taxis to get around as they are relatively cheap. The hotel lobby is large with lots of seating areas, the rooms were comfortable and clean, but a bit basic. The nicest part is definitely the 19th floor bar and pool area with fabulous views of the city. Could do with a few more sun loungers though. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and accommodating which was impressive as we had 26 in our party. Overall we had a great time in a good clean hotel.

Ivan, the door guy was great. Nicest thing to say about Novotel. Room was mediocre so the price charged per night made it a horrible value. Add to that they didn’t clean the room even after we requested cleaning service all they did was make oir beds and leave some nw towels. Never mind the dirty ones on the bathroom floor or that the floor was dirty. Wouldn’t stY at this chain again given the little service they provide for such prices.
