great hotel in a neighborhood but close to airport

Posted Apr 23, 2017
Pros: Location is great and so is customer service.
Cons: Rooms are a bit dark - better lighting. Also, tub/ shower arrangement is challenging for a handicapped or elderly person. Very high to step into.
Location: Location is great. Unlike other airport hotels, this one is in a community so there are restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacies, etc nearby.
My Mom travels alone from time to time . This visit I accompanied her, but the staff always goes out of their way ro make sure she is safe and taken care of. The hotel is comfortable with a free airport shuttle. It is located in a village, so there is a sense of community and an opportunity to see a part of Spain even if it is an overnight stay. Nice hotel, nice community.

Very nice Airport Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2017
Pros: Staff and cleanliness
Cons: The beds
Excellent staff and check in. Hotel clean with a good breakfast option. The only thing we didn't like was the hard twin beds, but that seems to be common in Spain, I don't know why they can't have queen size beds.

Nice hotel close to the airport, the only problem that it took me an hour waiting for the shuttle bus.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am sorry to hear that you had to wait so long for the shuttle bus. We do pass the terminals every 30-45 minutes depending on the time of the day. Between 12:00 and 18:00 we go every 45 minutes but the rest of the day every 30 minutes. On the other hand I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and looking forward to welcome you back soon.

Great hotel close to BCN

Posted Apr 15, 2017
Pros: Proximity to a small town. Front desk was very helpful. Room was large and Comfortable
Cons: Add Kleenex to the room
We stayed here the night following a cruise. We had previously spent a week in Barcelona so just wanted to be close to the airport for our morning departure. This hotel was perfect for that. We arrived very early at 9 am and Lesile, at the front desk, could not have been more pleasant or helpful. She not only found us a room for immediate occupancy but gave us a map of the area with suggestions for lunch and shopping. The room was large and well appointed. The best part was being able to walk around the area. Nothing fancy but a community with restaurants and shops. Rare so close to a major airport. We purchased the room with breakfast and were so glad we did as the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend if looking for Airpot hotel with free shuttle to the Barcelona airport.

Hotel is nice, services are not so...

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: Hotel is conveniently close to airport and public transportation. Room seems to be clean and relatively well maintained.
Cons: Front desk and hotel services.
Hotel is conveniently close to airport and public transportation. Room seems to be clean and relatively well maintained. As far as services and front desk staff they are subpar. For every service hotel charges. To weight your luggage, to use computer. Word about the breakfast, we did not expect to have one anyway, but they charge 13 euro per person and they tell you right at your check in, while any place around for a half of the price you can get better deal. Special about frond desk staff - incompetent and not attentive. We have asked multiple times about directions to the nearest train station and did not get a clear and concise answer and no attempt at any point to help.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that some of the aspects of our hotel didn't live up to your expectations. We do charge to weigh the bag as it is a service that an external company provide us. We do however print boarding cards free of charge for our guests. As for breakfast we have a very extensive buffet which cost 13 € per person and has a lot of choice such as fresh fruits, hot foods, coffee, toast, orange juice and more. It is correct as, you say, that we give this information to our guests when they check in in order to them to plan their stay. Yours sincerely,

Dark room

Posted Apr 5, 2017
The public areas such as lobby and restaurant areas are very nice and open and light. This theme does not continue in the rooms. Why an already small room with a small window which has tinted dark glass needs to have walls painted in brown is beyond me. The furniture is dark brown as well. The room felt extremely dark. The mattress was uncomfortable. The pillows were Spanish standard I suppose as I had seen these long flat pillows at another hotel there. Considering that there is an international clientele I would suggest offering additional pillows. The worst was the heat. It was 18c outside and the room was boiling. AC was not available this time of year. Apparently the heat was turned off after some people complained but it was still unbearable. I had to sleep with the window open with a busy street outside. This was the most uncomfortable stay have had in a long time. The front staff was very nice and helpful. I would not stay there again as a depressing dark room coupled with an uncomfortable mattress and pillows while sweating away is not my idea of a relaxing night.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that we haven't lived up to your expectations. The hotel works with central system that allows either heating or air conditioning. This year we have had an unusuall temperature in Barcelona for the season which has made the decision hard whether to use A/C or hot air or in neutral mode. We have however since this week turned the Air Condition on. We do have extra pillows on demand in reception. I have also taken note of the colour of the walls which are actually beige and we will take your suggestions into account for our future renovations. Yours sincerely,

Near Airport

Posted Apr 3, 2017
Check in was okay, but the guy at the counter was a bit harsh. With that said, he was helpful in setting up our transfer to the airport the next day. The rooms were stifling hot. It was hard to sleep, and the beds are just mediocre. The rooms were clean
