Hotel was extremely clean & staff were helpful. Comfy bed but the pillows are too small & the decorative pillows resemble couch cushions. No self laundry service inside besides very expensive dry cleaning. Spa is tiny and no area for parents to lounge while watching kids. Kids are only allowed in pool area 9-1. Location is decent although feels “dreary” outside hotel. Rooms are a decent size but no views. We couldn’t even move the blackout curtains otherwise neighbors would be looking directly into your room. I would not stay here again & there are probably better views for the price range.

Staff entered our room when Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. A total invasion of privacy. Hotel itself is okay but there nothing close. Walking outside the hotel does not feel safe. Graffiti everywhere. Will never stay here again.

About the safety, we are sorry if you did not feel safe, we can guarantee that is not a danerous area, and the fact that there are graffitis, it does not matter that it's dangerous, on the opposite, many of the graffitis, are made on purpose and approved by the owner of that secific space.Best regards,

Property itself was nice, that’s it. Had ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door while we were out. There was a bottle of wine left for us when we got back, meaning they entered against our wishes. The wine that was gifted by hotel was already opened. Area around the hotel was very dirty, lots of graffiti. Most businesses in the area were closed. Shower in our bathroom was very dirty. My recommendation, stay away!!

El cuarto era hersomo y siempre habían taxis disponibles. Lo que no nos gustó fue el servicio y lo peligroso que era los alrededores del hotel. El primer día que llegamos al hotel, nuestro cuarto no estaba listo y mi esposo y yo no habíamos comido pero esperamos en el lobby con nuestras maletas. Mi esposo fue y compró un sandwich rápido y se sentó en las mesas frente a la barra a comer discretamente. Luego el bartender (un hombre mayor) le gritó a mi esposo delante de todos diciendo que se tenía que ir, y sacudía las manos como si estuviera espantando un gato de la calle. Eso no se hace, y menos a una persona que acaba de pagar tanto dinero en un hotel y ni tan siquiera comer algo pequeño rápido en el hotel donde pagamos quedemos y disfrutar de las facilidades. Entiendo que había un restaurante, pero acabamos de llegar del aeropuerto con nuestras maletas y como carajo íbamos a comer allá dentro o afuera del hotel con ellas con lo mucho que roban afuera. Incluso, dentro del hotel había una pareja distrayendo a los turistas en el hotel u habiendo sus carteras, ah, pero regañan a un gringo por comerse un sandwich en una mesa puesta precisamente para comer. Otra cosa, cada vez que hacíamos una pregunta a alguien en el lobby, nos contestaban como si fuésemos un estorbo y no tan siquiera se esmeraban por buscar una contestación. Eso no está bien. Anteriormente a este hotel, nos habíamos quedado en un Hilton en la ciudad de Barcelona a y nos trataron excelente. Aquí no regresaremos.

Sallé Pere IV in Barcelona
I loved the view from my big, roomy terrace. The food from the hotel bistro was delicious. Most of the staff were very helpful. The hotel has obviously been refurbished. The linoleum floor in my room was soft in some places, gave when stepped on, as if there was nothing underneath it. The rest of the hotel that I saw was kept in good repair and spotless. Someone was constantly cleaning something. I would (and actually have future reservations to) stay there again.

Trip with daughter for study abroad
Hotel was clean, front desk staff was super helpful with explaining which metro lines to take and how far certain activities were from the hotel. Hotel was located within a 6 min walk to where daughter was staying for study abroad. Everything wass great, just felt they could have included breakfast for yhe cost, and just charge for dinner, inatead of charging for both.

The room had a nice bunk bed, my wife and daughter we each had our own beds. But the room was very small, wish it had another sitting around. Also, the worst is the AC it never got cold and was very difficult to sleep each night. I will not return until the AC works and is ice cold. For that price per night, the AC should be very cold. Javier at the bar was my favorite, always happy and welcoming early in the morning! If I come back, it is for my espresso doble from Javier!

El motivo por esta mala critica es porque cuando llegamos a la propiedad nos asignaron una habitación que no correspondía con lo reservado. La habitación era la 723. Una habitación pequeña, el minibar de esta venía vacío, la cama pequeña, los albornoces del baño eran viejos y deshilachados. El baño minúsculo. Parecía la típica habitación donde los empleados van a descansar. Expusimos nuestra queja en la recepción del hotel, al momento y nos dijeron que no era posible el cambio esa noche. Los recepcionistas hablaban en francés entre ellos, pero yo que entiendo el idioma y no dije nada, pude ver que sabían que tenía razón y que la habitación otorgada no era la correspondiente. Al día siguiente no cambiaron de habitación a la 717, y está si se correspondía con lo reservado, el minibar estaba lleno, y el baño y cama eran espaciosos. La primera noche ya nos arruinó un poco la estadía, porque después de pagar 700 y pico de euros por 3 noches, esperábamos un hotel de calidad, y fue una decepción absoluta. Las zonas comunes estaban ok, pero el ascensor estaba estropeado desde hacía meses, ocasionando largas esperas para poder ir abajo a recepción. Mi madre se hospedó en el hotel de al lado el Villa suites olímpico, y el spa era mejor y más grande. El hotel fue muy amable de darnos un pase y disfrutamos de un spa mucho más completo, comparado con el del Sallés Pere IV. Sin lugar a dudas no repetiremos este hotel, ya que no corresponde a un 4 estrellas.

Estimada Ami, Antes de todo gracias por su comentario.Como ya se le comentó el día de la llegada, la habitación en que se alojaron la primera noche corresponde a la categoría que reservaron, unicamente a nivel de tamaño tenemos habitaciones más o menos amplias. Ese mismo día se les ofreció una habitación triple o doble con dos camas, es decir que se tuvieron opciones de habitaciones más grandes, incluso para tres personas, pero prefirieron quedarse en una habitación con cama matrimonial. Nos gustaría recordarle también que en una habitación doble tener una cama de matrimonio o dos camas individuales está bajo disponibilidad al momento de la llegada. The only complaint I had was that I had to check out!! From checking in, to the amenities, the spa services and the location this gem did NOT disappoint!! I am very picky with hotels and do not feel comfortable but this was not the case here. Clean, comfortable and perfect. Loved the bathroom sink with the pull out cabinets (genius and I want this in my house) The location is perfect since it is 2 blocks from the metro. If you like going out then on the weekends there were 3-6 options for you in the immediate area BUT that did not effect the hotel. Luggage storage is available which was perfect since our flight was very early the next day Due to hotels.com status there was even a bottle of wine in the room that was enjoyed one day relaxing in the park with sandwiches Staff was helpful and friendly

Good location but thin walls
The hotel is in a good location for the airport, the beach and the gothic quarter. Staff in the hotel weren’t particularly friendly and our check in was delayed by an hour which was annoying. The room was a reasonable size however the air conditioning was poor so it was very warm. Also the walls in the hotel are quite thin so we could hear the people next door talking and screeching until the early hours of the morning which was frustrating.

The facility looks amazing and Lux. It was great the staff spoke English. I asked if room is as seen in photo he said yes. The room was smaller and the double bed tight and small. The spa was a great experience. There were some pros and cons . Overall it was better than some hotels in Barcelona

The room and balcony were superb but there were ants in the bathroom. The staff very friendly and helpful. We only dined once in the restaurant and had the Chicken Chop Suey. It was more of a starter than main course - no noodles with a small bowl of chicken and veg in sauce. No bread given either so very unsubstantial. The Cappuccino machine adds chocolate which was also very odd.

Good connection, but area is a bit rough. The lift are very danger which require update. Breakfast is great, but the restaurant staff service isn’t very good. Air condition was off at the night and there is no air flow. Not up to 4 star standard.

We were told by Hotels.com there'd be an option for 12pm Check-In however the hotel couldn't accommodate this then proceeded to check-in someone next to us for two rooms at 12pm... We also didn't get an upgrade as advertised or the bottle of wine upon check-in. The room's a decent enough size but shower room had filthy tiles, chipped mirror, leaking shower so the room would get wet quite quickly. Air-con was quite intermittent and the room would have a weird smell emitting from the vents when we'd return from a day out. All in all, it's an alright stay but for the money we were expecting more. I would've quite happily have paid that little bit more and stayed at one of the better hotels on offer here, especially as everything that was advertised wasn't supplied... The spa is a great addition though and all staff were extremely helpfuly with this. Gym is a bit sparce. One running machine for a hotel is a bit naff, you'd expect more if a "Gym" is advertised!

Good stay, good location, nice staff and good food in the hotel the only problem we faced is the ac it was so hot but other than that I recommend the hotel I rate it as a 4.5/5.

Excellent hotel for city break
An excellent location for a Barcelona city break with the metro a short walk away. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want and the staff worked tirelessly to keep food supply constant. Spa facilities were of a high standard and were a good way to relax after a day's sightseeing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a city break.

Good hotel
Stayed here for 9 nights whilst on business, nice clean hotel with good facilities and restaurant. Stag very good and not badly situated and within in walking distance of most things. Only complaint was the bed was not too comfy but that was just my preference.
