Totally impersonal. Barely 3 stars

The hotel is just OK. It is clean, the food was good in room service. The views were nice. Close to metro and a mall. With that being said, the room needs update and care. The coffee table was broken and barely standing on its own, same case with the side table where the phone was, there were spots on the carpet, etc. The beds were not the most comfortable but not horrible either. There were no extra pillows in the rooms, no way you could watch TV for a little bit in a comfortable position. The personnel were cold and distant. Most of the time they acted as if they could not get rid of you fast enough. Their interpretation of "good service" is to be fast regardless of the outcome. We noticed this attitude with the receptionist guy who helped us when checking in, also with some other personnel the next day, again with the same receptionist on a second occasion, and finally with a different receptionist while checking out. It is not a horrible choice, but we will definitely never go back there with SO many other options in BCN.
