Totally impersonal. Barely 3 stars

Pros: Location.
Cons: Get with the program with the service industry.
The hotel is just OK. It is clean, the food was good in room service. The views were nice. Close to metro and a mall. With that being said, the room needs update and care. The coffee table was broken and barely standing on its own, same case with the side table where the phone was, there were spots on the carpet, etc. The beds were not the most comfortable but not horrible either. There were no extra pillows in the rooms, no way you could watch TV for a little bit in a comfortable position. The personnel were cold and distant. Most of the time they acted as if they could not get rid of you fast enough. Their interpretation of "good service" is to be fast regardless of the outcome. We noticed this attitude with the receptionist guy who helped us when checking in, also with some other personnel the next day, again with the same receptionist on a second occasion, and finally with a different receptionist while checking out. It is not a horrible choice, but we will definitely never go back there with SO many other options in BCN.

Excellent hotel in good location close to Metro

Pros: Overall experience
Cons: Not aware of anything in my experience
Location: Handy for metro and bus and tram routes. Ease of swift travel to all parts of Barcelona and its attractions.
Excellent room facilities and servicing. Good quality in restaurant both at dinner and breakfast. Friendly and informative staff in both reception and restaurant. Overall, a great experience.

Not a 4* hotel.

Pros: Nice view
Cons: Most things
Location: Little far out but have got metro
Two single beds pushed together - not a king as booked. Lights hanging off the wall and bare wires showing. Building work outside the hotel and was not made aware. Water tastes off and just not a four star. Look elsewhere

Nice, clean and modern hotel

Pros: Very modern design, well connected and close to the business district.
Cons: Check room systems for sources of noise. This can be a show-stopper for business travellers.
It's a good choice for business travellers, I found the room a bit noisy - I woke up a few times during the night due to strange noises coming from perhaps the aircon? the electric blinds motor? the ventilation? Note sure. I stayed for 7 days and it happened on the 5th day. The staff kindly suggested that they move me to a different room.

Close to Metro station Glories.

Pros: From the hotel room, I can see the view of the city of Barcelona.
Location: The hotel is close to the metro station Glories, and a walking distance to Sagrada Familia. A short ride on metro to Passeig de Gracia.
The room is quite modern. It is clean and comfortable. It would be better if it has a balcony. The elevator of the hotel is a little confusing: if two people push the button for different floors, the elevator only can go to one of the floor and the other person has to push the button again.

Perfect for sightseeing

Mauricio was very helpful on reception and it is a very modern and stylish place.great for sightseeing as bus is 1 minute away literally hope on and hope off.great places to eat in rue de poblenou few mins walk and 10 mins to an amazing beach.

Good hotel, easy to get around from

Decent hotel, good service, clean, easy to get to and from via public transport. Only major downside was the shower that is just part of the bathroom! I like shower curtains, thank you!

The hotel has uncomfortable beds and pillows. There is no concierge so they were not good at making suggestions. It is spotlessly clean. I am told the rooftop in the summer is THE place to be. Unfortunately it is closed in winter

Needs updating

Very nice and friendly staff. Hotel is outdated, some lobby cooper colored tiles are bent, carpet in hall way to room is very dirty (spots). Inside the room, the bed small lamp is broken, out of socket, the electric curtain is torn on one corner and telefoneó has wires sticking out. Good location, very small business center under the lobby and small bar.
