I have to give the staff props for being accommodating and personable. The room was quite small, in the sense that you can't open the balcony door because of the bed, so you need to climb over the bed to go outside. The balcony was nice, and the staff was nice enlige to find us a couple of chairs, so we could sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the lively street.
The neighborhood is good for shopping, with the big brands in the next street over or little boutique stores in the side streets. It's also a short walking distance (15 min) from la rambla and the gothic quarter. Few of Gaudi's architecture is nearby.
The cleanliness of the room was lacking. Walls are dirty, and it seems that the middle part of the shelves/tables are cleaned so the space towards the edges are dusty/dirty
I recommend the location, but the hotel it self is lacking.
