Upon check in, the staff was extremely rude. The room was dirty. The location was advertised as near the gothic quarter and it is not. The thing we were most disappointed in was the actual room...as you open the door to the room you walk right into the bathroom. They don't disclose that in any of the pictures or online. We booked a junior suite and the bathroom is the entryway! Terrible all around.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms were appointed beautifully. Between the chrome cast on the TV, to all the modern plugs by the bed for phone / computer charging, the amazingly friendly staff, to finally the beautiful pool on the roof. This Property gets an A

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional! The staff did an excellent job. Our junior suite was spacious with plenty of light and black-out window treatments for the night. The entire hotel staff did an amazing job, from check-in, concierge assistance, room service, etc., the staff was always there to provide the best assistance. The location is perfect, in a safe area and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, when we return to Barcelona.

It was a great location. The staff was excellent. The facility was old but clean. Overall it was a very nice place to stay in Porto. The breakfasts were very good. Probably a little more expensive than other hotels in the area but worth it.
