Arriving to the hotel was super easy and we were allocated a room ahead of our check-in time which was more than perfect. Upon arrival to the room there was a strange musky oder within the room itself, after opening windows and ventilating the room, my partner and I ventured out of the hotel. When we returned the smell was still prominent so we asked if is there was a possibility to move rooms. After being allocated a new room we came to discover that the window did not open in the newly allocated room, causing it to get really hot. The intermittent aircon did help, however it was something that had to be constantly monitored and activated causing a disrupted sleep. We also found damage to the door becoming quite difficult to secure the room, after a few attempts we were successful but left us anxious in knowing our belongings were secure and safe. We approached reception to see if there was anything that could be done about the newly allocated room - but there wasn’t a great amount of service provided. The next day we received a call to the room from reception regarding inconveniences - a free breakfast was allocated as a gesture of good will. Although this was a nice gesture it didn’t surpass the poor experience which was had. We asked a number of occasions to speak with a manager throughout the ongoing issues but we never got a direct interaction or communication. I wouldn’t recommend this property again.

The room was nice and had plenty of space. The view from our room was great. The breakfast could have been better. It was a typical European breakfast with not a lot of hot breakfast options. The eggs had been setting in steam making the eggs watery and unappealing. When asked if we could have fresh eggs cooked, the cook was offended and said that the eggs were fine and stirred them up. Our request was finally made. A better breakfast would have made it great.

Great location for restaurants and shopping. Roof top terrace perfect for drinks, hotel has a boutique feel, rooms are attractively furnished and beds/pillows very comfortable. Ventilator in bathroom would be useful. Reception staff very helpful.

Me and my wife always stay in vincci hotels all over Spain. But vincci Barcelona was not convience for us : 1- parking was far away 2- no parking out side the hotel to take our bags in . I hade to go to car park and walk twice to hotel with bags and cloths. 3- the parking was very expensive it’s cost us €102 for two days which makes the hotel not value for money, sorry I will not stay in vincci Barcelona again or recommend to any one .

Great hotel - avoid closet rooms
Great location and service. Great modern bathroom that had as much usable floor space as the rest of the room. The room was mostly bed and very dark. There was an opaque window that opened enough to see that it was in an interior shaft. Internet was spotty in the room but worked well everywhere else. Stay away from Room X04 and this is a great hotel with staff that provides outstanding service.

Room was nice, but faced interior shaft and had no view/limited light. Bed was good, but two twin mattresses put together. Some of the switches, bathroom hardware, etc. were not great. All good, but I will probably look elsewhere next time.

This is a really lovely hotel, and the staff is wonderful. It’s in an upscale, non-touristy neighborhood that is within easy walking distance of La Rambla and the Passig de Gracia, as well as subways that can take you anywhere. And the neighborhood is dotted with pocket parks and lovely gardens, away from the craziness of the tourist areas, so it’s also more low key and much safer. All in all, an absolute gem.

The staff was exemplary. This is my second, but not last, stay at Vincci. The reception was lovely: they were always eager to help and provide excellent service from the desk and to the rooms themselves. Would recommend to anyone who wants both service and location in central barcelona.

Great hotel, with so many options in the city, I'm glad I choose this one. In a very classy area next to shops and restaurants. It was perfect with a cute balcony. The rooftop is great also and you get a great north and south view. Highly recommended and I will be back ;)

We stayed one night. All was smooth and nice, loved the decor of the room and the massive comfy Bed. Breakfast is small but nice. Terrace area is cool to have a drink, Pool is tiny but cute. A great City stay.

Kind staff and elegant hotel
Very professional and friendly, attentive staff! The breakfast buffet is excellent and the room lovely. My colleague had a burger for lunch on the roof-top and loved it. However, they should invest in better windows in the rooms facing the street. Even with earplugs, I could hear the traffic in the morning. My colleague didn't hear anything, so it depends on your sensitivity to the noise. Or ask for a room facing the back, but they are darker as no real view. Good location.

This hotel is in a very nice neighborhood away from the throngs of tourists in the old city but close enough to explore everything. The price was very good for the quality of hotel, which is very clean and in good condition. The roof deck is beautiful, even in December, and would be just gorgeous in the warmer weather. The front desk staff were very nice, the dining staff were a bit surly but quick with service. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but the prices seemed reasonable, and eating on the roof in warm weather would be beautiful.
