The room: showed distinct signs of wear & tear & shower was dysfunctional & put more water on the bathroom floor than on me in the shower. Thank god for Filipe Nogueira(receptionist who provided terrific/excellent service and his backup, a young woman, whose name I didn’t obtain, also provided good service. On the plus side, the hotel’s location was easy to find & ideally located to centro.

Reasonable basic hotel
The hotel was well-located in the town. We appreciated the helpful receptionist allowing us to check in before the allotted time. The room was OK for a short stay. We had a balcony, but no chairs on it. The bed was too hard for comfort. The tv had lots of channels and the internet signal was good. We experienced a lot of noise from other guests and from construction outside.
Not the nicest view from our balcony!

We were disappointed that we were not allowed to check in prior to 2.30pm even though it seemed many rooms were available. Other than that everything else was very good

Not good value for the $$$
This room was very basic, without much light. The hotel in comparison with where our friend was staying was more expensive and not as nice. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and the included breakfast was very basic. We did not think this hotel was good value for the money at all. On the plus side, the gentleman who checked us in was super helpful and trying to please, and although he was the only person at the desk for check in he gave us all the attention we needed.

Good location but hard to find staff were friendly and helpful room was bigger than expected but the ‘’double’’ bed was 2 single beds pushed together with separate linen and the beds were very hard and very uncomfortable no tea/coffee making facilities no minibar/fridge or bottled water but the room was cheap and within walking distance of things you would want to see

Nice place, less than expected
Beautiful city in Portugal. Conveniently located right on the Camino de Santiago. Breakfast was lackluster. Staff was nice.

Good (not great) hotel; very convenient
Nice hotel for a quick stay. Off the main thoroughfare, but close to everything central in Barcelos. Very friendly, and (aside from a sharp turn out of the garage) secure and easily accessed parking.

A Little Gem
We stayed overnight in Jan 2014 on our way up to the North of Spain. Well situated in the centre of Barcelos. Rooms were bright, clean and warm. Hotel staff were very accommodating. The underfloor parking was a bonus.

Bonjour mon séjours a était tres lamentable je ne comprends pas que ce genres hôtels existe encore en 2022 et surtout que vous faîtes de propositions pour ce genre hôtel. Alos dans la douche ils y a encore le rideaux qui colle a la peau la chambre doit daté des années 70 80 la vue on n'en parles pas la propreté on n'en parle pas non plus le parkings oui ils on un parkings mais ma voiture qui est un hyundai tucson ne rentre pas le petit déjeuner lamentable auqu'un produits frais un café un buvable un hôtel à évitez

Em fotos interessante. Na realidade, MAU hotel
O quanto era grande, mas desconfortável. Frio, sem um único tapete junto à cama. O ar condicionado não funcionava. Colocado o problema, a recepcionista, veio, foi simpática, terá tentado resolver o problema, sem resultado. Dispondo-se a ir buscar um aquecedor... Não quisemos, e como havia vários cobertores, minimizamos o frio. Estávamos no Norte em Barcelos. Temperatura exterior à noite 2ºs. Fomos alertados que a garagem em cave, piso -1, tinha uma rampa com uma curva difícil, na saída. E na verdade era. Defeito de construção, espaço mal calculado. Quem construiu desconheceria que existe a geometria. Pequeno almoço em bufet, fraquinho, num hotel de 3 estrelas. Ficamos só uma noite.Experiência a não repetir. especialmente no inverno...
