Our stay was only one night. We had no concerns. The hotel is in a great area. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The hotel is clean, staff polite and helpful. Our room was large with a big balcony. The beds reasonably comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options. The lobby could use an facelift. The colour palette is dreadful, dark and a little tired. But that’s purely cosmetic.

Surprise check in
I only can say positive about this hotel. I arrived super early after a last second booking. Didn’t expect anything just leave my luggages there. Instead they offered me a breakfast and my room was ready. During my short stay everybody was kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

Great stay!
Hotel was super clean and comfortable! The location was good, just a few blocks from the old part of Bari and the harbor, and a 15 minute walk from the train station.

We stayed at this hotel the night of April 11 to 12, 2022. We woke up in the morning surrounded by ants crawling the sheets and pillows. It was gross, because ants sting humans, and in some, this causes allergic reactions. We could have brought the ants home in the luggage, too. We took pictures and also called the staff to the room. Staff at reception refused to award any refund because "the hotel was booked through Expedia". In turn, Expedia said they could not give a refund because we paid directly at the hotel. Not sure where the truth lies. Expedia gave us some coupon / credit for future use, for less than half of the amount we paid. Very disappointing experience overall, with both hotel and Expedia.

Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel. The mattress was in the bones, the springs poking out, I requested to be moved to another room only to find a bathroom stinking like dead animal, gross!!

we paid about 10Euro extra for our breakfast with Expedia but my friend got an offer of 1Euro for his breakfast with the hotel offer. It's the same breakfast. There were not many choices of the breakfast but the coffee was personally made by the waiting staff, a very nice guy. On our last day we had to check out about 6ish in the morning, we were so surprised to see the staff already getting ready for the breakfast and making coffee for us.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Got upgraded to a double room for free. Plenty of space in the room and great to have a bathtub! Breakfast buffet was comprehensive with great choice.

Very friendly staff. Small hotel. Rooms clean and well looked after. Reception is small but efficient. A poor bar and lounge area. Lots of cafe bars in the area. Overall nice friendly hotel.

Room 401 needs inspection required for the bed bugs and elevator needs some maintenance attention. Our stay in Bari was great except the hotel we chose to stay. Hotel was close to the old city which we only had time for before flying out to The Greek isles. Elevator nightmare: Got ready to go out for dinner and got in the elevator then moved a little and stopped. Tried to push the button again and nothing. We knew we were stuck. None of the emergency buttons or phone were functional. To our benefit the hotel wasn’t sound proofed well so the reception girl or maybe one of the guest eventually heard and shouted that the help is on the way. It was the longest 10min I’ve experienced. Thank god my husband was with me. Bed bugs: I didn’t want to review on this unless I was sure that the bite were actually bed bug bites and it was. I knew by the second day it wasn’t the mosquitos. It started as an itch on my forehead and it started to swell at the airport the next day By the end of the day few more appeared on my neck and shoulders and started to itch like crazy. My husband had a few bites but lucky him he doesn’t react as badly as I do. Now it’s been a week and most of the bites have calmed down with the occasional outburst of itchiness from the same spots. It is still on going and the scars look horrid....,

The standard room is very spacious and airy. The shower was really small and dark and there was quite some mold around the tiles. Breakfast was very basic continental fare. It was ok for a one night stopover.

Good location and helpful staff. Breakfast is very poor, similar to what you get in USA. Parking is hard to find on the street therefore you have to use a paid parking that cost 20€.

Location in town was good
Perfect location pre- and post-cruise. Get to explore the city. It is a small - almost boutique hotel. All the staff members were very helpful and nice. The room was old European style, with AC that barely worked. We opened the windows, but mosquitos came in - even on the 4th floor. There was no refrigerator for food items we bought. They have a lounge chair at the desk, making sitting uncomfortable for work at the desk. The bathroom floor seems to have been beautifully tiled at one point, but the surfaces are mostly ground/destroyed. I can only imagine it was to make it less slippery, but that was quite unattractive. The bedding seems old. There was an odor of it (blanked and pillows) being old and unchanged. The bed it self sagged in the middle and the pillows were the flattest I have ever seen.

Barely adequate, but friendly.
The hotel is quite centrally located, within an easy walk of the old town of Bari, and quite easy to find. It is a rather old-fashioned place with limited services, and our room had no natural light so was definitely gloomy if not glum. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was barely edible – it really shouldn’t be too difficult to at least provide some fresh bread rolls and the ‘orange juice’ available was clearly in contravention of the trade descriptions act. Parking was an interesting experience in a nearby 'Autosilo'.......

Great location
Great location, friendly staff, very clean, good size rooms. Not the best Best Western we have stayed in in Italy but it's right next to the old town and a ten minute walk from the marina. It's on a busy road and we were at the front but we were not disturbed by the traffic. Definatley recommend it for singles and couples.
