A small town pub with accommodationPosted Aug 18, 2015
The Fountain Inn is located in the centre of Barnoldswick which is a small town in Lancashire, it was part of Yorkshire up to 1974 The staff and landlord are very friendly and for that matter so are most of the people of Barnoldswick Their tariff are reasonable and the food is good old English pub/food Would stay there again and a good base for sightseeing Lancashire & Yorkshire

VERY FRIENDLY WITH GREAT FOODPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Dog friendly. Staff made me welcome and I had an excellent meal in their restaurant. Early breakfast arranged with a smile.
Cons: Lack of off-street parking and the room was too hot (it had secondary double glazing so hard to get fresh air)
Location: Barnoldswick is well situated for the South Yorkshire Dales.
Excellent little pub with very nice room. Overall, it's a great little pub and excellent value for money. I'd certainly go back again.

Recommended if you are in Barnoldswick.Posted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good Evening meal we booked was great.
Cons: Not a criticism- just a suggestion.- A veggie breakfast option on the menu.
Location: Close to Skipton and Forest of Bowland.Lovely area.
This is THE. Place to stay and eat if you are staying in Barnoldswick,or looking for excellent value close to Skipton and the Forest of Bowland. The executive double room ( 4) was really large, and worth paying a little bit extra for.It has a comfortable king size bed.Staff hospitality is first class.I recommend you book a table in the evening in the restaurant as the food and choice of menu and ales is brilliant.

Very friendly placePosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly, clean, efficient, good food and welcoming place
We arrived in the bar on a Friday evening, really filthy from a long day MTB in the hills to a really friendly, efficient and understanding welcome. Room was great, bar (and locals) really welcoming, food and service excellent - couldn't fault it at all, the Fountain Inn was a good find and I would recommend it to anyone - will be back next year for St George's Day in Bar'wick!.

Really welcomingPosted May 22, 2015
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: In beautiful countryside with the National park and walks all around you. Also the Leeds and Liverpool canal was 10 mins away.
Lovely pub with very welcoming landlady. Big room, with plenty of space. Big comfortable bed, and lovely bathroom. Our dog was welcomed and given his own bowl of water and a treat. Lively bar and very pleasant restaurant with good, freshly cooked locally sourced food. Everywhere was clean and fresh, and everyone was so helpful and friendly.

A nice friendly pub / B & B in a good but slightly disappointing town. Great breakfast.

Good stopoverPosted Mar 9, 2015
The hotel staff were cheerful, welcoming and helpful. The beer and food were all excellent. My room was quite small, which didn't matter to me for one night, but could have been a bit cramped for two people staying for a few nights. I would certainly stay here again.
