Lovely little enclave on the beach- great view of the beach and sunset. In a small lively town that takes some getting used to - people lovely and friendly but not the cleanest town. Polite staff but you have to sign out everything including pool towels and blowdryer and you have to wear a band to prove you are staying there to use the pool. Noisy if you stay on beach- the waves pound and sadly the beach and shore area is slowly disappearing. due to waves and storms. Great restaurant upstairs Bananas Recommend overall for the traveller who wants a bit of an adventure in a small friendly mexican town

This is the third time we come back here and love it! The location is perfect since it is in the main strip for shopping and restaurants. I love that it is beach front and staff is so kind. Will keep coming back here. Thank you!

Never Again! I’m easily pleased. And, I was not pleased. I asked for a refrigerator. They said No. I asked for an extra pillow. They said No. I asked if my kids could drop in for a swim even though they weren’t staying with us. They said No. I asked for a late check out. They said No. I asked if I would get any money back if I checked out 3 days early. They said No. I decided To buy a room at the Grand Isla Resort across the bay. It was amazing. Best choice ever. My room sat empty for 3 days at Hotel Barra.

La mejor vista de barra de navidad a la bahía. No hay caja fuerte en las habitaciones. El wifi es muy débil y a pesar de tener smart tv no llega la señal. El hotel muy lindo y la atención muy buena.
