"The room and property was average but nice. My kids and I jumped at every sound all throughout the night because of the homeless and drug addicts, walking, yelling and begging right outside our door and someone stole our breakfast tokens. Welcome to Barstow, the armpit of America. I have to admit though that every time I’ve stayed in or around this area hasn’t been any better."

"Of all of the 9 places we stayed while on our trip, we enjoyed this place the best. Not totally because of the accommodations but because the mom and pop owners were so nice and welcoming. We were able to check in early, ann enjoy the pool. In the morning the owner asked if we wanted eggs and made us scrambled eggs with cheese himself. They both were very sweet. Barstow seems to be a dying town. But their place was very updated."

"Perfect overnight stop as part of a big road trip. Room and amenities as expected from this brand and great bed and pillows for a great sleep. Easy walk to several eating places and a great shopping outlet. Safe and easy parking, good buffet breakfast and would stay again."
