Worst Experience Ever

I was checked into a dirty room, and then placed into a room without WiFi. I asked for a room with WiFi and was denied. I was told there were no other rooms available, which I knew to be incorrect, (remember the first room, it was dirty but vacant, they just did not want to clean it). I was told the Wifi service is not every good “that’s why we do not charge for it”: You may not charge for your Wifi, you do however advertise that it is available, and have set an expectation with your customers that it is available. I was then given the opportunity to leave without being charged for the night. Since the city was booked this night (Friday (10-23-15)), and the fact that I was trying to locate an alternate hotel without the use of WiFi, it took me three hours to find another hotel. Then I went to check out and the manager stated that I would no longer be refund if I checked out because it had been three hours. After arguing the point with the manager, I attempted to just leave at which point the manager threaten me with” if you don’t come back here so I can swipe your card you will not receive your room credit and that I could take it up with corporate.” Finally after processing the credit I was literally in the door way leaving when the manager shouted out “ I hope you didn’t book a room with bed bugs”
In my 20 plus years of customer service I have never experience such horrific service.
I actually teach a hospitality class and will use this experience as what not to do, for my
