Very nice, comfortable little hotel room. Even though it was next to the interstate, it didn't bother me!

9.4/10 Exceptional! (174 reviews)
We reserved and paid for a room. When they failed to send us a key code, I called and was told it was not needed. That someone would be at the front desk. We arrived at 7 pm to a dark and deserted building that required a key code to enter. Called again and, during 20 minutes on the phone - in the dark and in the rain - was repeatedly told the code was coming any moment. After 20 minutes I told them thank you but no thank you and we moved on to a hotel on the highway. At the hotel, I contacted Expedia and asked for a refund. That took about an hour. I was notified two days later that the refund was granted.

"Seemed like checking in took long. Then I was informed the elevator was not working. I asked if there was a room on a floor lower than the fourth since I have an injured leg. I was told no. Later the desk clerk asked about my stay and I informed her again I was upset about the elevator situation. ..."

"We called ahead and reserved a rollaway bed. This was a must have for us and a big part of why we chose this location. When we arrived they had no rollaway beds left. The man at the front desk had no sympathy. I don’t expect continental breakfasts to be good, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. ..."
