Simple low-key property that worked well for a budget-friendly stay close to Aspen. Located a minute walk from the bus route which was really convenient. Liked how quiet the room was. Free breakfast was a bonus.

Breakfast was terrible, toast or frozen burrito. Room was below average for the price. The warning about $100 reset fee if you change settings on the tv were enough to put me off from even using it.

We take pride in offering a variety of breakfast options, including juice, cereal, yoghurt, breakfast burritos, bagels, muffins and pastries. It's disappointing to hear that these choices did not appeal to you. However, our location is surrounded by many dining choices that offer great cooked breakfasts. In regards to the room, we apologize if it did not meet your expectations in terms of value. We strive to provide clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations. Especially given the proximity to Aspen. Regarding the TV settings, we appreciate your understanding of the importance of common courtesy in returning the settings to the original state. This ensures that the next guest can enjoy a seamless TV experience upon arrival. (not find the TV on Netflix) The 100 reset fee is in place to cover the costs associated with restoring the settings and we hope for our guests cooperation in this matter. We value your input, and your comments will be shared with our team.

Good Host but low quality room
Shower was not working .. central heating was not good . Receptionist said as very good in helping us .. just the room was below quality for 200$

Very nice room with comfortable beds. Located next to a stream - wonderful, soothing sound. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Snowmass.

I don’t remember the females name that checked me in. But she was so friendly and gave us a free upgrade with a river view. My husband was so excited! We got to our room and it was perfect. I loved that they had a blanket on the bed. Didn’t see the other one until I hung something’s up in the closet. Me and my husband sat outside and listened to the water. We got up ate breakfast and went and watched the wildlife play in the river. It was perfect.

We loved our stay. The stream was relaxing & pretty. The events going on over at the park were lively & fun. The room was very comfortable. We did miss the air conditioning tho. But still a great stay. We dined in Aspen, but had we realized the Tasty Trout was right next door when we checked in, we would have eaten right there!

The room was great and the location was fine. Even with it being in a busy area I really didn’t hear too much commotion coming from the outside. The only problem I had was that the walls are thin and I could hear the conversation of the people next to me. Outside of that it was quite pleasant.

The Lodge is really an upscale motel, easy to find, close to restaurants and the bus to Aspen. The free breakfast was a nice surprise and the staff helpful. Why spend 3 times as much in Aspen when you can stay in this lovely mountain town and take a bus/shuttle to all the great hikes?

I loved the river being right on the property with a bench to sit and enjoy it. All the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was fairly clean, not spotless. I just wish breakfast was available at 6 instead of 7.
