Fine hotel
The hotel has been modernised and expanded into a house to the rear since my last visit. A small pool and sun deck have been added. Service and food were very good and there is a lovely outdoor dining area.

Hotel is in a great location with wonderful seafront views and plenty of character. Our room was small for the price and lacked drawer and storage space The pool is out on a limb, so it is disappointing the hotel offer no poolside service you have to fetch drinks for yourself.

I didn’t stay at the Arbiana. For technical reasons (maintenance) my booking was canceled. I noted however that the hotel was open and had many guests. The hotel booked me at the Imperial Hotel in Rab, which was very good. When I did the booking through Expedia there was a significant price difference between the two hotels, but since I had paid in advance I didn’t see any final invoice to ascertain whether I was entitled to a partial refunding or not.

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel
This is a beautiful old hotel situated on the Marina at Rab. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the view (if you choose one of these rooms) is wonderful. It has a great swimming pool, beautiful breakfast, restaurant area. The breakfasts are excellent. It could not be situated better. Immediately outside the door is the marina and a 2 minute walk to restaurants, the old town etc. Probably 5-7 minutes to the other side of the island for swimming. The staff were great. Helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Excellent hotel; a bit pricey but worth the expense. Note that this is not on the beach, but yacht areas and close to old town. Breakfast was also excellent. We would return.

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous old Venitian town. The staff is superb, breakfast lovely. Rab and this hotel are both quite a find. We had a problem with a check in, due to some confusion with reservation -- an error on our part, which the hotel should have caught. They were gratious in resolving it - another testament to the quality of the place.

Sensational
Fantastic, charming boutique hotel in arguably the best location in the small island town of Rab. The seaview suite was perfect, with a gorgeous balcony facing over the water, providing the perfect place to unwind, read a book, enjoy a cocktail and watch the people and yachts just float by. The staff here are phenomenal; incredibly friendly, highly professional and very attentive. Breakfasts were simply delicious with plenty of variety. Dinner at the restaurant (Agatha's Garden) is not to be missed.

Gorgeous Boutique hotel in stunning location
Hotel Arbiana is a gorgeous boutique hotel in Rab town. It is well located very near restaurants and bars but is not noisy where it is situated. Our room had a stunning view of the harbour - double aspect with two small balconies. Room was very comfortable with fabulous beds, separate duvets so if one of you moves the other isn't disturbed! Room was large so plenty of room to spread out, air con worked well. Bathroom had a bath/shower. Dinner was stunning in hotel, served in little garden out of the back of the hotel, candles lit on each table and candles lit up in the wall as a feature - a bit romantic! Breakfast was self service with the offer of hot being cooked for you - very tasty. Staff were helpful, gave us beach towels at front desk when asked for. Only downside is no swimming pool but we hired boats so not really a problem for us!

Lovely original hotel
We spent a few nights in mid October just before the hotel closes for the winter although you'd never guess as it was immaculate. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and Mariano in particular was very helpful.

An Adriatic gem, flawed by tourism
This was our 50th anniversary trip to Croatia and Slovenia where we had lived 45 years ago. Over and over we found that commercialization is ruining the authenticity of the old Adriatic towns. The hotel restaurant was only fair and overpriced, not too many good restaurants in town, pizzerias have invaded and taken over. Rab has a wonderfully compact historic center with visible daily life, but the town is far too small for so many tourists (that's true of most towns in Dalmatia).

We only had one night at the Arbiana but we wished we could stay longer. The location in old town is ideal for walking around. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful - they recommended a restaurant that we loved so much we returned for lunch the next day.

A great place to stay
We really loved out stay at the Arbiana. The service was great and I can really recommend their restaurant. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Rab old town. The only problem we had was that the AC could not quite cope with the heat wave, but that should not be a problem in normal circumstances. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rab.

The Arbiana is just at the tip of the peninsula that comprises Rab Old Town. You can walk easily from it to any of the local restaurants or sights. We found it comfortable and clean, with a decent bath tub and views overlooking the town and the sea. Our room was a good size. The staff were very helpful, particularly since we insisted on travelling by public transport from Zadar (a very bad idea) and pretty much had to be directed with long distance satellite guidance. It's pricey and has made no concession to modern expectations (no swimming pool, gym etc) though you can walk to the local pier/swimming strip and swim off there easily. Breakfast is included and was good if not outstanding - some better use of the abundant local fresh fruit would have helped. You can probably get better deals but not much of a better location.

Für uns war es der dritte Besuch. Wir finden das Hotel toll, die Anfahrt ist zwar etwas langwierig, aber es lohnt sich schon. Die Adria zum Baden ist direkt hinterm Berg und wenn man die Stufen nicht steigen möchte, dann hat man einen wunderschönen Pool mit Gegenstromanlage. Das Frühstück war auch wunderbar. Alles frische Erzeugnisse, Eier wurden nach Wunsch zubereitet. Abendessen haben wir nicht gebucht, da es in der Umgebung des Hotels so viele Gaststätten gibt, dass wir es wieder nicht geschafft haben, alle mal auszuprobieren.

Urlaub auf Rab
Wir waren nun schon das dritte Mal dort, und es war wieder sehr schön! Zimmer war groß und geräumig mit einem tollen Balkon. Betten sind sehr gut. Nur leider die Kopfkissen eine Katastrophe. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt! Es gibt einen schönen Poolbereich an dem die Liegen kostenlos zur Verfügbarkeit stehen. Im Garten kann man Frühstücken. Welches auch sehr lecker ist. Und auch das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Amazing place, romantic hotel with beautiful garden… We just drive around this hotel, looks so beautiful - we have to stop to check it and definitely have to stay. Professional service and friendly stuff, very helpful, love the view from room and breakfast. Perfect location if you want to take a walk to town.. We definitely come back.

Die Lage am Rand der Altstadt ist perfekt. Das Restaurant ist traumhaft. Mit Sicherheit das Beste der Insel. Wunderschöner Garten und sehr gutes Essen mit perfektem Service. Das Zimmer war schön groß mit zwei Balkonen. Parkplatz für 10 Euro pro Tag direkt am Hotel. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden sicher wiederkommen.
